The unit came with a "bakelite" connector which was cracked and broken in many places. The original packaging was not suitable for transport. I was able to replace defective components with original ones. Obviously this wasn't planned.

So far so good, I did notice that the AC noise was higher than my previous old Bosch alternator which failed, but you will find this in many double price car circuit alternatives on the shelf as far as I know Find. Good temporary alternative until I restore my old one and test it for safe AC noise.
