If all else fails, read instructions

The instructions for this filament state that the filament is to be fed directly into the extruder before use. I had trouble plugging in the extruder. Yesterday I tried to push the filament into the extruder. What emerged was a thick strand of extruded filament twice the normal diameter (top filament in photo). It seems to have cleaned the print nozzle. Since then I've made several prints with no gags. They make objects that look and feel good but are very difficult to stick to the build plate.

If you just need bulk filament there are better options, but if the price comes down it might be worth it if you're willing to put in the effort. I've had some crazy mismatches with this PLA, even the same one. Color and almost identical settings. To save…

It (translucent red) was printed with a semi-gloss, more matte finish. Mine (red, blue, black, white, gray) is printed with excellent gloss. Adhesion is more difficult than with PLA. I don't know what Revain base filament actually is, but it prints and feels like modified PLA, PLA+ or easier to print PET. It can be folded without breaking. It's soft and
