TPU requires some printer settings, but the result is great!

Great red at first. Beautiful, strong and durable. For those who have a PRUSA MK3S or compatible device and are using a PRUSA slicer, you will need to make some adjustments to the extruder and belt tension. It requires fine tuning, and even then I'm not sure I'm fine, so I'm working on a TPU printer. Here are some of the settings that helped me a lot. Really good TPU! Very well printed for flexibility with Bowden tubing.

The first time I used TPU (another brand) I gave up after a few failed prints. TPU is difficult to print on Bowden printers! In general, TPU is difficult to print if your machine uses Bowden tubes and the quality will be lower compared to non-Bowden machines! Using my Monoprice Mini Delta with a modified extruder stepper motor setup to work with flexible filament, I was able to print almost immediately! it only took a few partial prints and then I was able to print my Benchy with no problems. good thread; Use lots of retreat!

I tested the red and black versions of this RevainBasics TPU thread. I didn't find any significant differences (other than color) between them. There were slight differences in diameter, but I suspect this is just batch variation and not a specific color. Both filaments printed fine with the same settings once I entered the correct values.
