The Turret PoE AI Camera features Smart Motion Detection (SMD) which allows the camera to detect and filter between human and vehicle motion events. IVS features (tripwire and intrusion) for perimeter protection, and face detection to detect facial images. Please note, face detection is typically recommended for use with an AI NVR, however, can be used independently to detect faces. Offers 4K @30fps video with a super-wide 108° viewing angle. A PoE injector or switch is required; not included. SMARTER SECURITY – Receive motion alert notifications and review footage via your smartphone with the Amcrest View app. Playback and record professionally on a PC using the Amcrest Surveillance Pro or Blue Iris Professional. Works with Amcrest Cloud remote video storage, MicroSD card (Up to 256GB), Amcrest NVRs, and QNAP NAS, FTP, Pale Moon and Sea Monkey Browsers, IE, Safari, Firefox 49. 0 and Chrome with Amcrest Web View Extension. Excellent quality but NOT 4k@30fps

Beware of the misleading name in particular. This is NOT 4k@30fps. It's only 20fps at 4k. You have to lower the resolution to 2592x1944 to get 30 fps, which I didn't want. That is one of the reasons for the 3 stars. The picture quality for this price is excellent. I've been a Reolink user for all these years. Tried aecrest when the first 4k was released but returned it as the software was pathetic. I have to say that hasn't changed. It's still a shame. Amcrest Surveillance for Mac just doesn't…

That's a great camera!

When I received this camera a little over a week ago, I put it in front of my garage door and replaced the old model Axis camera with a PTZ camera. I was worried it wouldn't work as well as Axis, I was wrong. It's not a PTZ camera but I've found I don't need one, the field of view is better and the night vision is better than the older Axis for a small price. Great camera with lots of features at a great price

This is a great camera, I have other Amcrest products and this like the others is great. I like that it's not a closed system and you have the option to choose your storage media and access your video stream directly without having to use the cloud or a subscription fee, although those options are available if you want. This 8MP 4K Smart PoE camera from Amcrest continues its tradition of thinking of everything, giving you more than you pay for in a stylish package you can be proud of. amazed at the image quality compared to my five year old 2 megapixel Amcrest cameras. Very good wide angle surveillance camera. Read the description to get 4K@30fps

The video quality is really good. I really like face recognition and it works great for my setup. I use it in Home Assistant for motion detection to bring up the video feed. I couldn't use this feature when using the non-AI camera as it was triggered when cars drove by and not when there was a person in the driveway. I had a few issues that were quite annoying and took a long time to figure out, which aren't necessarily the camera's fault, but I'll mention them anyway. Hence the reason I gave 4
