The quality is no worse than optical sights for 1000 dollars

I have been working in the electronics industry for a long time. I've worked for semiconductor companies and leading electronics manufacturers, so I've used quite a few branded oscilloscopes in my time. AmScope performs as well, if not better than some of the more expensive Olympias and Bausch & Lomb. I am very happy with this scope. Note. The base is VERY heavy (about 20 pounds?) which you want as the arrow needs to be ground heavy for stability and be able to hold the scope without tipping…

Good value for money in the camera and photo range

For the money this scope works quite well. There were no instructions for this scope - it would have been nice to have a proper manual but the image of the series enabled me to put it together properly. The horizontal boom is unique and the head is quite heavy. This makes it difficult to keep the hand in place when the head is turned to one side. Not a huge downside, but if you think you'll be using your scope in this position a lot, or plan to use it in a position other than vertical, consider

In general very satisfied. There are a few things worth mentioning.

I'm a hobbyist who needs to do small jobs on circuit boards and miniature models from time to time and for those jobs this scope is just amazing, big overkill. The optics are clean, I haven't had any issues with focus drift, the included LED light source (dimmable) works great, and the whole unit feels solid as a lead ingot. However, all of this goes to show that there are a few things that prevent this scope from getting a 5 star rating. The full zoom range is achieved by attaching a 0.5x or…

Good scope. Very important. But the continuous zoom is actually 7x-45x

Overall I got a product that is worth what I paid for it. The picture quality is amazing and the overall design is perfect. NB: The product description says "3.5x to 90x continuous zoom with excellent flatness and contrast" - but they don't say that the actual zoom range of the microscope head is 7-45x and that you can get a 0 .5x lens to get 3.5x-22.5x, or 2.0x lens to get 14x-90x. You don't get a continuous range of 3.5x-90x, which makes sense in hindsight. Too bad I didn't know that…
