🍳 Anolon Nouvelle Copper 11 Piece Cookware Set, Sable - Nonstick, Hard Anodized Pots and Pans Review

Update 7/23/20: Anolon contacted us and resolved this situation positively. You're replacing a fancy frying pan, so I'm happy now. Aside from that one item that had an issue, the set is great.

You can feel the difference between this set and the inexpensive set that we usually take and throw away. It's strong, durable and heats up evenly so far. I started using nonstick spray again. I've found a few people complaining about eggs sticking after a few uses and I've had the same experience myself. That fact aside, these are amazing pans that are well worth the investment.

Right out of the box the side of the largest pan looks like it has been sanded down. I paid $400.00 for this set and I'm sick of it. If they don't survive shipping, how can they stand up to everyday use?! Edit: They sent a replacement skillet and the nonstick coating broke right out of the box. Not even a joke. Do I need to request a replacement skillet?!?

My Anolon pots and pans have been around for a little over a month. I love how thick and heavy these pans are. One downside is that they take a little longer to heat up due to the thick base, but the thick base heats up well and cooks my food evenly. My eggs don't stick unless you heat the pan too hot. They are easy to clean. I have a set in beautiful sable. I just wish they had more of this color.

What I really need is a pot that works well on an induction hob. I found this pan but went for the whole set as it offered better value for money. Unfortunately, the pan does not work well with induction. I'm trying to substitute a Cuisinart pot of roughly the same diameter and it was already simmering slowly. I bought these to replace a Calfalon set that has seen better days. In general, the set is excellent, the color is very pleasant.
