The rating says it all, my reception with it is worse than without. I assume that the antenna in the housing is quite small. Placed in the exact same spot and orientation, my ATT GSM combo modem/router will get better reception on its own. I would say don't waste your money unless you have a modem with or without a very small antenna.

I am using this with Netgear Orbi 4G (LBR20). The signal strength has improved significantly with the connected antennas. An external antenna allows you to place the modem in a more austere place and / or place the antennas in a place with better reception.
