Beautiful design, but poorly crafted

After I put it to the test, I found that the Antique Bronze Hummingbird Flower Knocker was flimsy and poorly constructed. While the design was beautiful, it did not hold up well in everyday use. This door hardware is not worth the price as it lacks durability and functionality.

Pros
  • Beautiful design
Cons
  • Poorly crafted, Flimsy

Nice, but the technique was sloppy.

Mounting Screws Missing! Half of the ratchet dangles and rotates back and forth. It's very nice but lacks attention to these operational details.

Pros
  • Height 6.5", Length 4", Width 2"
Cons
  • None

BEWARE! Concave back, gorilla strap, hammer dropped and broken

My neighbor bought one like this. It was great, but our apartment building doesn't allow us to put screws in the door, so our knockers have to be wrapped in very strong duct tape. The back of this hammer is concave. Even though they attached it with gorilla tape, the small outside edge that was supposed to be used to attach the hammer wasn't enough surface area to hold the hammer and it fell and broke. Keep in mind that even if you use very strong gorilla tape, there isn't enough surface area…

Pros
  • Gives your guests something nice to announce their arrival
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
