Vacuum cleaner works very well. I just ran a hose down the oil dipstick tube on my diesel Porsche Cayenne and it sucked out 8 liters of oil in about 12 minutes. I stopped halfway to drain about half of the oil as it doesn't hold the full 8 liters. No serious problem. I then used it to pump the diesel out of the fuel filter canister and changed the fuel filter with no problem. This device is perfect for what I use it for.

Got this for an oil change in my PWC. The versatility of a hand pump or an air compressor to create a vacuum is amazing and both work great. All hose sizes available to access the dipstick hole were adequate. If you need to remove liquid from the container, this thing works just like drinking soda from a cup through a straw. Really chic design and very well made! Definitely NOT junk!

I ordered one after reading the reviews and hope to use it. The first came back without hoses. The second came, but the top cover is broken. I don't want to send it back for another to come with different problems but I need a new cover. Maybe someone reading this will send me a number six on the parts sheet. It's time for an oil change or I would send this back. Maybe some RTV survives. Just concerned about the loss of suction from the crack.

I finally got around to using this on my gearbox and it has worked great. The liquid was cold, but this pump could pump all the liquid out of the sump. I have used both a manual pump and an automatic air nozzle, I recommend using an air nozzle if you don't have a compressor. I was able to bleed over 4 liters of gear oil in less than 5 minutes. It's a lot easier than draining it under the car. I plan to use it for all my vehicles and my small engines. Highly recommended.

I'm old school, never thought I'd buy this for an oil change but tried it on my 16 Malibu after it finished extracting the oil, just for fun I pulled out engine oil drain plug, about 1 tablespoon of oil leaked out, everything is fine, I'm sold. It is easy to use with both pump and air connection. I like that it has a lid to take it to a parts store for recycling. Everything about it looks and feels good. The device does what it should and has many different tubes. Lots of suction power with handle, no compressed air required. I've used it with a generator, a large blower, and a lawn mower. I bought this because all three of these tools have drain plugs that throw oil all over the surface of the tool and make a complete mess. For me, the vacuum cleaner sucks off about 3/4 of the oil. I've tried all the holes - dipstick, filler and drain, and even all the hoses that came with the unit, but plenty
