So far, so good.

So far so good with this electrochemical gauge. This is my first EC meter and I am using it for the first time. I wasn't sure if I needed to soak the KCL for the first calibration as it was technically dry for a month. Also, my laminated sizing instructions said to calibrate at 84ms first, but it actually required a 12.88ms solution. I believe the map covers several meters of models. I did a 2 step calibration with 2 solutions (12.88/1413) and it worked fine. I took my first EC reading and…

Great device and more accurate than other less expensive brands

I use this to measure TDS in my water as I have a filter system for that. It was already accurately calibrated when I received it. It is well packaged, very easy to use and read. Being a science teacher at HS for many years, I've had a lot of cheap crappy equipment and this one is VERY good and well made. It comes in a very nice molded case. it will withstand some abuse. Very good value for money for a well-made device. Don't skimp on cheapness when measuring something like this. a margin of 1%

It's perfect and well calibrated, quality certificate

. It's a pretty good price compared to that cheap TDS meter under $20. I have an old cheap TDS meter that I bought from Home Depot, but the old battery was dead and bloated. Didn't know the battery cell was bad, it was pushed into the meter and the lid and battery compartment were broken. I hate those watch batteries that aren't as reliable as AAA size batteries.
