Excellent Quality. My son is 5 years old but one size smaller. We were able to order size 2 for him and it really fit him perfectly. Sits tighter on him than the size 4 I ordered him.

Great quality, perfect fit. Size 10 is a narrow size 10. No wiggle room. Thin nylon arms and legs (similar to a bathing suit), neoprene body. Ideal for swimming in the pool and on the cool beach in summer. Not as thick as a surf wetsuit. Perfect for our needs during late night swim team training.

A size 10 suit is good for an average 8 year old I would say considering it is too short for my average 9 year old daughter.
