Type of review

I bought this as a replacement. I had a major misprint that caused the thermistor to fail on my original hotend. I just replaced the whole thing to get it working and will be replacing the thermistor on an old hotend so it's a spare. I have all the settings as before, the fans are silent, everything works as before, simple, light and fast.

This is an exact match of the original Ender 3 V2 hotend build!

Take my advice: Heat the hot end to swap out the nozzles THEN turn off the printer. The wrong key when it's still on will cause the heater element to fail, forcing you to get a new hot-end assembly like this one. Why? You can replace the element and resistor, but for the price you now have a spare that can be quickly replaced should anything go wrong in the future, and be back in business while you fix the broken one. I'm very glad my $30 printer is back and running better than ever with new…

My Ender 3v2 is Back in Business

After being attacked by a giant FDM blob, my hotend has never been the same. I'm still not sure how many things went wrong and I was running out of patience to track down every single issue. I just couldn't get quality printing. It took about 40 minutes to replace while doing other things, it would go faster if I was focused. You'll need a couple of zip ties to plug everything back in and you should take a picture of where the existing cables are before you start removing things, or take a look
