Works as advertised. Have the CCA read. Test them from the largest to the smallest. Easy to use. Has a good starting pull test and ground test. Nice item on the market. as related equipment. Have 2 of these 70's chargers and use them almost daily. I hope it's the same.

I needed an accurate, easy to use battery tester and here it is. With no prior preparation, I was able to diagnose my battery in less than 30 seconds. Simple and accurate with a large database of batteries and options. A quick read shows the battery percentage, CCA results and resistance value. Savings had to be made and the 12-1015 model with printer was taken.

I have had the device for 2-3 years. It was helpful when needed. I've used it probably a dozen times. It's not something we need often, but it comes in handy when we do. It always worked great until I needed it a few days ago. The screen lights up, but the text is no longer visible. If you tilt it, it's a little visible, but not enough to use the tool. It has always been kept in a case and remains in my truck. Warranty year, so bad luck.

I looked at many reviews and sold this device because it states the battery resistance value. Most don't do this and only give bad or good readings. I have used this on many 1300 amp 4D batteries along with small 12V AGM 8Ah batteries. It has a setting for the unknown and will test and output CCA and resistance along with voltage readings.
