Excellent reception, best in network adapters

I bought this with some hesitation as some reviews said it might not work with Windows 10. I installed the latest update for windows 10. and this card worked great. My computer is in the basement, the router on the first floor is about 15 feet from my computer in the basement. I get the best reception here I've ever had. This is about the third wireless adapter I've tried. He runs in circles around others.

  • Offers an expandable design that allows you to prioritize services over data

Best wireless adapter I've found

I measured a 125 Mbps Internet connection on a computer with a wired connection to my router. Remarkably, I was able to get 100% the same WiFi speed with this adapter when I was in the upstairs bedroom and on the other side of the house from the router. Smaller adapters were never better than 1/3 speed, for example 40Mbps was the best a TP-Link AC1900 PCI-Express Dual Band Wireless Adapter with Beamforming Technology (Archer T9E) could do, although that in itself is a great improvement over…

PCE-AC68 is pretty cool

That's why I prefer Hardline, but I chose WLAN because of the wiring. I used to use an Asus USB-N53 (but it was junk) and was missing Windows 10 support. - Asus website for PCE-AC68. Setup was standard, I checked the CD and instructions that came with it, but then decided to check the Asus website directly for the latest drivers. I installed them, turned off the computer, plugged in the card, connected the antenna and boom. Did. Then I went to Google for some speed tests. The 2.4GHz channel…

Long term test - bought 2016

I had this on my Custom Made Gaming PC with Intel Skylake i7 6700k built in 2016. Until recently I had very few issues with the Wi-Fi adapter. When transferring data, it got loud with a hiss and I got error messages on the screen because software was making my computer unusable over Wi-Fi. I uninstalled the software and it worked again but still made a little noise when transferring data. I'm pretty sure my card is nearing the end of its lifespan, but according to Asus the warranty period…

Almost like wire.

Part I: When moving from one ISP to another, the new network operator used a wireless base station instead of Ethernet. I wasn't thrilled with this as I prefer a wired connection but decided to try this Asus adapter on my desktop PC. After installing the card, antenna and software, I launched it and the provided application immediately found my ISP's network. I logged in and BOOM: Connected, sure. Speed was generally comparable to a cable, although there could be occasional glitches with…
