Professional auto mechanic, I use them almost every day to run various hoses and hoses. Even on some stubborn electrical connections. They work great and are many times cheaper than snap-on or matco kits.

They are not perfect in shape or finish, but they do the job perfectly. As a mechanic with 25 years of experience, I wish I had bought them many years ago. They are very helpful when pulling the hoses. They don't have the snap-on fit and finish, but they don't come at the snap-on price point.

You need this set if you do a lot of work under the hood of your car. They are a must for working on my Turbo Beetle (a marvel of vacuum hose engineering). Also help with spark plug boots and brake lines. Once you use them, you'll wonder why you didn't buy them sooner.

Needed to thread a 3/8" flexible fuel hose onto a 3/8" knurled steel pipe. With a displaced nose ring, everything is much easier. Worked great. I'm glad I bought them as I've encountered this situation in the past. Makes work a lot easier. I just wish they were longer. Very well made pliers and robust.

Purchased this tool with some trepidation based on negative reviews of the build quality of this product. The tool is not the highest quality tool steel and I can see that it can rust over time. However, the casting makes a reasonable impression and it does what it is supposed to. it simplifies the removal of fuel lines, vacuum hoses and heater hoses and does not damage the hoses. Three different sizes make hose removal easy, making this a great purchase. It's not the best quality like…
