Works like a champ.

I bought this to avoid having to go to the dealer to program the TPM sensors every time I upgrade to my 2017 Forester winter set of wheels/tires. Should pay for itself in two visits. I didn't play around with the CD that came with it, I went to the website (search for ATEQ Quickset) and downloaded the USB driver and the latest software. Just RTFM and everything will be fine. First, download the USB driver software, connect the device to the computer and install it. Then install the Quickset…

Works like clockwork

Like others, I was hesitant to buy the Ateq Quickset Tool because of the negative reviews. But the positive reviews made me give it a try. I'm glad I did. I bought winter tires and steel wheels separately for my 2017 Subaru Forester. The tire shop that put the tires on the wheels activated and read the TPMS sensors for me and gave me the codes. I think Ateq has a good tool for the most part, but their instructions allow for a lot.

My comments below are based on installing a new set of wheels and tires with new TPMS sensors installed in each wheel. When I say "tire" I mean a complete tire, wheel and sensor. I got this tool the other day and while it seems to be doing what it's supposed to do, setting it up with the software and driver was a real pain.
