ATP Bearing Separator Splitters Bearings Review

I used this kit and it worked great. I am happy with my purchase. These are tools you won't use every day, but if you need to remove bearings, they're worth it.

Absolutely the trash tool I've ever ordered. Don't try to save money by buying this. Buy a better set. I broke 1 piece, then broke another one and bent 2 thru bolts on the bearing splitter when it opened up in less than 20 minutes.

This is a good puller for household and medium duty jobs. I needed this to pull out the bearings in an electric pool pump motor. I bought new bearings, a set of pullers cheaper than the price of a new motor and still saved money and now I have tools and bearings for next time.

Typical Chinese quality. Forging is good, but threaded parts are not. The threads on the threaded bolts are not of the best quality. They didn't tighten so I threw them in the trash and bought 1/2-13 and 3/8-16 threaded rods from my local hardware store, they work properly now.

Complete and complete nonsense! Thankfully they are no longer available from Revain so no one else will be buying these kits. Tried to remove the axle shaft seal on a Toyota Sequoia. Ha! No chance. with the jaws of the largest cage firmly hooked to the seal, the threaded rod simply broke with light pressure. Round 2, replacing the included threaded rod with 2 USA made high strength bolts. I was able to apply light to moderate pressure before the separator lips just curled to the side and just…

On first use when the small 1 5/8" saw arbor bearing was removed the threads on the double threaded tension bolts broke. They were oil not steel and undersized 10 x 1mm will suffice. to make it look like a new nut can be threaded ALMOST without turning total dollar invested. That doesn't take into account what would be required for a larger set of jaws.
