I just hook them up to a newer basic Pioneer stereo and they play clean sound at a moderate volume which is all I need. This is the second set of these speakers that I have purchased. The first set in 2013 (lasted 5 years) and now in 2020 (lasted 7 years). Both sets of speakers rusted around the magnet that was on the cone and there was also corrosion on the electronic components soldered to the cone.
