I installed them on my 1999 f350. I cleaned them and applied a LIGHT coat of lube before installing them. They went in easily and fit perfectly. I use my truck for work and it takes me off the road quite often, I haven't had any problems with work.

The locking sleeve works as it should, but there was one little thing I came across that might confuse you. Initially, the locking hub could not fully engage the hub assembly. Then I realized that the paint on the outer lip was actually too thick. I sanded it down and it went in with a couple of light taps with a rubber mallet.

Customer service is great but the product isn't great. Tried 2 sets. There is a proper setup (that's good) and it seemed to work properly just to test the block in 4x4, but under load both kits pulled apart just trying to get my camper out of the yard receive. As far as traction for the truck alone they did well, but once the load got to the point where the front started spinning, they gave up.

This part is relatively easy to install yourself. When installing the part I encountered some resistance from the included o-ring. After several attempts to install the ring, I finally found that it's a bit thicker than the old one and I can't use it. I had no problem installing the new part with the old o-ring. The retaining ring MUST be installed correctly or the part will accidentally snap off.

It is very important to know that this is a question of a precise fit, which means that only the color on the outside can make gliding a little more difficult. However, with a bit of persuasion, even a light sanding of the paintwork or a light smear film solves the problem. Fits exactly and fixes the issue of hubs not being able to be locked or unlocked. Worth the money (about 2 times cheaper than others).

Originals became stiff and it was difficult to manually set them to Auto or Lock. I chose a set and that's it. Before installation, I compared the new with the old, they turned out to be identical. The materials appear to be the same. The cost of these hubs is less than half the cost of a pair of OEM hubs.
