I prefer this collar as it has a vibration mode which I use instead of shocks. My cocker spaniel reacts immediately to vibrations.

The buckle on the collar is made of cheap plastic and is easy to loosen. Honestly, if I didn't just have to use it once and now just picking it up would stop it barking, I'd probably return it.

I was very happy with it but very disappointed. The two metal spike size options are not long enough for dogs with a lot of hair (like our Bernadoodle) or dogs with long hair (like our German Shepherd). The shock variety doesn't seem to phase the dog at all and he's usually very sensitive. Even if he shot it to the end, he did nothing.
