I usually buy a size medium but after reading the reviews I bought a size large and it fit perfectly. These cycling shorts have great padding but no padding on the front. This makes them more comfortable and less restrictive for men. I don't ride lower handlebars, so I don't need a front guard. I bought a pair and later bought two more and this is my favorite of all the ones I've bought. 5'11 167 normally wear 32 medium.

I ride 20 miles a day 5 days a week when i can weather When the weather is bad, I ride my bike in the doors at the training stand for at least an hour per session. I always wear these shorts. They offer excellent protection from chafing and chafing. They also wick away sweat very well. If you ride a bike, you need this. Keep in mind that they are very narrow, so you might want to buy a size larger than you normally wear. I highly recommend them.

these and I love them (have 3 pairs now). I've always had problems with sore sit bones, but these shorts plus an extra padded saddle cover for my e-bike solved the problem. I'm 6ft 1in and 210lbs which is a lot of weight for those bones. I'm 74 and overweight so I wear them under cargo shorts instead of bike shorts. Size XL fits perfectly. Tumble dry lightly, simply keep the dryer temperature low to medium. They are of excellent quality. Highly recommended.
