06 Duramax for parts

Very easy to install but still not a huge difference but looks nice. I also bought a Super Scoop but my tire rubs against it when I turn left.

Easy install and great help

I was able to install the compressed air myself in about 30 minutes, the instructions were great except there was a plate behind my headlight that kept getting stuck. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone with a Chevy Duramax.

Cons
  • Communication with seller

The standard system is designed for "extreme" conditions and has very limited air consumption. I installed a Banks Ram system on my 2006 Duramax LBZ, the motor ran with far less effort than before. Less workload on the engine and you can hear it. When accelerating, the turbo revs much faster, the revs are smoother and the engine runs effortlessly. Whether you work with or without engine tuning, you will feel the difference. I run Superchip 2805 in performance mode and the results are amazing…

Banks Ram Air Works

Some people will tell you that this system is no better than any other cold air intake system. I think it's really important. I installed mine on a 2007 Duramax LBZ and I have to tell you the motor ran with a lot less effort than it did half an hour ago. It climbs a 1 1/2 mile hill that I climb everyday with less engine workload. On the freeway on the ramps the engine revs faster and revs seem smoother and once I got up to my cruising speed it just stabilized and revs dropped and it just seemed
