Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Quite noisy. Pros: 270 degrees of grinding, discreteness of adjustment - it would seem easy to return to the desired grind when changing the type of coffee. Direct-flow system - no chutes, etc., no old coffee from previous grinds, about 0.1 grams remain in the burrs themselves - it's easy to try different varieties, no need to grind extra coffee when changing varieties. Some cons: If you use different brewing methods, such as espresso and filter, then you need to change the grinding degree…

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Spare parts are easy to find in online stores. I bought another millstone for it as an alternative. Disassembles for cleaning easily. I clean once a week, because. the rest is still there. Everything is convenient, everything is thought out. Every morning it is a pleasure to grind. Freshly ground coffee is poured into a glass - the smell throughout the kitchen. Very happy with the purchase.

    Pros
    • Beautiful, comfortable and at the same time does the grinding you want. It seems that a person came up with it not on the instructions of the company, but put his soul into its creation, although we are talking about just a coffee grinder.
    Cons
    • It makes a lot of noise, but how without it. The instruction was translated, apparently, by Google. Let's just say it's not cheap. It takes some time and coffee to set up 3 buttons for the right portions, but then - you press the button and the portion is ready.

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

One of the best models of coffee grinders for the home in terms of price / quality ratio. Especially the 270wi model with built-in automatic weighing. There is even a firmware ate for the coffee grinder via bluetooth. Its pros: 1) Direct grinding system. 2) Discrete and micrometric grinding adjustment. 3) Easy to disassemble for cleaning. 4) Model 270wi has an automatic weighing system. Some cons: 1) Too noisy. Measured A-weighted sound level at 1 m from the front of the grinder 85 dBA. 2) The…

I wasn't thrilled with the product, but it can be used.

I am very upset that a coffee grinder for 40k is such a jamb with a grinder setting regulator. And this disadvantage crosses out all the advantages. You need to hold it with your hand or somehow fix it. And remember what setting was before it went astray. If you forgot to fix it, then grind to the basket. Its pros: Possibility of fine adjustment of grinding, direct grinding. Got cons: The fine adjustment wheel shifts towards coarser grinding during operation. Noisy.

Almost perfect coffee grinder with major flaws

I really liked this machine. It's nice, fast, grinds espresso perfectly. It was loud, but I didn't care. Then, after about 3 weeks of light use (17-38 grams of beans Monday through Friday and maybe 70 grams over the weekend with lots of engine downtime in between), the machine just stopped working. Be silent. I was devastated and decaf and going through all stages of grief as I requested a refund and crated the car (thanks to the previous reviewer who advised me to keep the crate). This machine

Mine has stopped working, but Baratza is doing fine.

My Sette 270 just stopped for cleaning after deburring. The motor doesn't run, although I can see the panels are lit and the timer is running. We are working on a solution, but it failed at a very bad time. As it turns out, there are a couple of fairly subtle but vital lockout safety switches, and the one that was preventing the motor from running burr-free was defective on my unit. The very commendable customer service team showed me how to locate the faulty switch and outlined a successful…

Rocking start. But I insist on my purchase.

I am very satisfied with the operation of this coffee grinder, but it took me a while to get used to it. one he goes with. This meat grinder is advertised as a jack of all trades out of the box. It's just not true. I emailed Baratza about it and they got me to read an article on how to adapt my brewing method to their grinder. I think many will agree that this is backwardness. Just order another millstone and avoid a headache. The grind time is very stable to the point where you can adjust and…

Great pho sho grinder. Love it.

Love it! My Baratza Virtuoso Preciso is broken. So it's time for a new meat grinder. And I wanted something better. After some research, it pretty much led to this one. Appearance, brand, assembly, price. simply had the best value for money. The other contestant was Rancilio, but he just didn't look as sexy as this one. I'm very glad I got this as it looks amazing on my coffee station. And this timed loop is very useful. I set several timers and only have to choose one depending on the…

    The ultimate espresso grinder

The Sette 270 is a great precision espresso grinder. It can grind a bit coarsely, but not coarse enough for a French press; maybe rough enough for Chemex. Grinding espresso is very fast: 18 g are ground in about 6 seconds. This version is not designed for weighing, so I weigh the grains beforehand. I fill in pre-measured grains and press the preset button, which grinds for 10 seconds. This is pretty good for making sure everything gets fully shredded. There are many settings to perfectly adjust

Great grinder but even better customer service

Top quality grinders will cost you over a thousand dollars but it's probably the best value and their customer service is great. still a fellow espresso and home roaster, and Sette has pretty much everything you need to experiment with different grind settings. I made some of the best espresso shots I've ever had at home with this guy. One caveat I'd add is that it's very difficult to use this for espresso and other types of brews at the same time, simply because it's difficult to adjust the…

Great grinder for espresso. Easy to fix.

My old Starbucks barista finally died so I did some research and settled on the Baratza Sette 270. The results were excellent. Very fast, no waste and very finely ground espresso. And so I had great shots every day for a year and a half (taken with my Rancilio Silvia, which I love). And then I did something stupid. Someone gave me a packet of Blue Mountain Jamaican ground coffee, which of course I should have tried, but the grind wasn't fine enough for an espresso. I decided to grind it with my

Loud and dirty but gets the job done

I had this coffee grinder a while ago and the first thing that struck me about almost sending it back was how dirty it gets when grinding fed into the portafilter. Left to its own devices and depending on various factors like grind time, beans used, and whether you grind directly into a portafilter (like me) this thing makes a HUGE mess. As the grist builds up and reaches the bottom of the dispenser, static electricity will cause the grist to fly off the sides and create a significant counter…

    Pros
    • Fingers crossed
    Cons
    • Lots of stuff

I ordered this item and received it on time. The specific reason I ordered this model and brand was that the previous grinder (another brand) had died - mainly because the grist kept getting stuck in the chute. This grinder has no "chute" - the grist is poured directly into the bin or washing machine without going through an inclined chute. Now for the fun part: when I unpacked and reassembled the grinder and ground a few times - it wasn't a grind at all - even at the roughest level. I dumped…
