The threads on these bolts match the nuts provided perfectly, however we had to make modifications to our project as the half-round nuts did not fit. When we took one of these bolts to the hardware store to find a regular one, but used them instead of barrel nuts, these bolts didn't fit ONE standard US size! I had to buy all the screws new. These will be returned.

Good value for money. I couldn't find this size anywhere. Every place I've been has charged at least $10 for four short nuts and bolts. In this pack there were twelve for the same price. Came in a plastic bag with tools. I needed them to assemble the bed after moving house. Yes, I lost the original hardware. I will definitely buy again.

When the bunk bed was moved, the original trunk bolts were warped and slightly broken, so this is a slightly different replacement kit. This set is a much better design, but the small barrels dig into the wooden bedposts more than I would like. The bunks are solid and strong now, but I'll have to figure out some kind of curved washer to keep the barrels from bumping into them.

I used these to replace the screws on a 'vintage' (aka old but loved) Ikea Pello chair that we dismantled during a renovation. They work well when you have the right metric drill bits and dowel setting jig. M6 (in the name) - metric size 6.0 mm. You need to buy a drill to drill a hole for the fastener. The barrel enters a hole with a diameter of 10 mm. You must also buy this drill. I tried drilling holes without a template and couldn't. I succeeded with a cross-shaped dowel attachment. I was hoping that they would match the bed we were building but unfortunately we found that you get what you pay for. ends if you are not careful. We used two of these studs on each end of the rails and when we attached one side and lifted the other to meet the next studs we couldn't figure out why they didn't go through the holes like the others. It was. We checked them out and the two bolts were slightly bent as if they had been used. They even had wrenches in their eyes. I'll pay more next…
