Really solid mount for Roof 10x42 Gosky Prism Binoculars

I was planning a stargazing trip and bought Gosky 10x42 Roof Prism binoculars because I wanted something more powerful than my Bushnell 10x25 compact binoculars. I have a Philips PJ44254 tripod so I wasn't sure which binocular mount would be the best. I did some research and knew that plastic threaded bits should be avoided. I am very glad that I got this Barska binocular tripod adapter. Fair price and really durable and well made. It holds Gosky 10x42 prism binoculars well in a secure position

Works well and is very strong!

I bought this tripod adapter for a pair of 12x50 binoculars that I have owned for a long time. I haven't used them much because they are a bit difficult to keep stable, so I decided to try a tripod adapter. It works great; Unlike other reviewers, I had no trouble getting either the tripod or binocular port securely in place. I appreciate the hardness of the metal; it's definitely going nowhere. If I upgrade to a more powerful pair of binoculars, it's nice to know that this adapter can then be…

STOP looking for ADAPTERS and GET THIS.

I have Celestron 25x70 binoculars. They are 3 pounds and HEAVY! So the plastic tripod adapter that came with the binoculars was ok, but not very durable. So I bought a metal binocular adapter from CELESTRON, but I HATE the FLAT screw and they could NEVER attach it to the binoculars tight enough. The Barska adapter is PERFECT. It is ALL METAL, the SCREW HEAD is LARGE and covered with RUBBER. The adapter can be easily and firmly attached to the Celestron 25x70 binoculars. So much so that there…

Terrible CC. 0 out of 2.

I bought one of these hoping it would fit my binoculars and tripod. It was great for my binoculars but not my tripod. The thread was too big so that my quick release plate could not be screwed in. When I first started returning this product, Revain offered to send me a replacement. So I went with that option and when the replacement arrived I tried to put it on a tripod. However, the threads were torn off again or simply too big for my standard tripod plate. Thinking maybe I was wrong I grabbed

Works well but needs something to stop it from rotating, easy to do

This works great with my Vector Diamondback HD binox, but as supplied it wants to rotate (within two lens barrels), won't quarantined. Need some kind of soft lock washer - don't want to use a hard one - or something similar to hold it in place. I tried a few things that didn't work and I ended up with a two layer piece of an old bike camera with a hole in the middle that attached to a screw that fits into the binocular mount between the mount and the binoculars. Semi-elegant but works well. The

LOCK WASHER REQUIRED. best in binoculars

BARSKA Binocular Tripod Adapter listed as "Often Bought Together". Yes, buy it if you're buying Celestron SkyMaster Giant 15x70 binoculars because the plastic adapter that comes with the binoculars works, but it wobbles so much you need a metal adapter. I bought FIZZ, it's ok too, doesn't wobble. BUT! Due to the smooth surfaces of the binoculars threaded bushing and the mating surface of the rectangular adapter, and the lack of torque you can apply to the small thumbscrews WHEN ATTACHING THE…

Very stable tripod adapter made of metal. Surprised at difference

When I bought the Celestron Skymaster binoculars it came with a plastic tripod adapter. Oh my god it's hard to believe when you're a beginner like me. But there is no comparison. Spend a few dollars to buy this metal adapter. It pairs perfectly with my Revain Basics tripod and now when I look at the moon, stars and planets through binoculars everything becomes rock solid. The plastic was very hard and took a while to become stable, so the shaking continued. It's hard to express the huge…

1000% better than Celestron plastic mount

I just received this new tripod adapter and I'm going to try it right away (in case I need to send it back right away!). So far, so good. The adapter prevents vibrations between the tripod and the binoculars. I shouldn't have said that, but of course there's vibration when you bang the tripod and/or bang your face on the binoculars. Some reviewers have complained about the depth of the threads or the rubber gasket that holds the adapter to the tripod plate. I'm using a Manfroto 3275 tripod head
