The inward screw connecting the two door handles made me turn the handle during installation. There was nothing wrong with that, it took me a few minutes to figure it out. At first the keys were sticky; in fact, they didn't seem to fit. After a few seconds of fumbling, the key was properly inserted. Otherwise installation was very easy apart from what I mentioned above, this is a RELIABLE and WELL MADE product and I would buy again.

I bought this for the front door. It was very easy to install. The grip is actually much stronger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. My only downside to this product is the edges/corners. I reached out to grab the handle without looking. In the moments when I miss or barely reach it, I check my hand for traces of blood. Definitely worth considering if you have small children or if you are accident prone.

Looks good and solid but never mind as I can't install it due to its design as you can see the screw is on the right side of the panel right behind the handle, and even with the handle in the down position, I don't have enough room to insert a screwdriver. The screw is also wedged diagonally into the grip shaft. I can't imagine a real German engineer coming up with this design, a 5 year old could do better

This product looks great but is complete junk. Materials - cheap metal and plastic. We only bought three and one broke down after about a month which we ended up replacing. Last week we put the key in and turned the knob and the inner part broke off, making it impossible for us to open the door from the outside or the inside (once we do). The little key that came with the latch should be a giant red flag. Save time and money and buy the best brand.

Received the front door with the same key in a nickel-plated version. But that's where the pluses end. Fitted for a standard American-style door, it barely fits, although the dimensions say it should slide in easily. I really had to tweak both the latch and the grip to make it work. If any pressure is applied to the latch, it will not work. I'm just talking about the standard sealing tape that is pressed onto the door to close it. This replaced the standard outdated set of Schlage locks with round door handles. I updated the look with black trim and hardware and thought it was a nice look at a great price. Very worthy product. The material feels strong and heavy. The best part was that it could be adjusted from 2 3/8 to 2 3/4 inches. Installation was easy. Had to keep the existing strike plate for the door handles as the door does not close properly with the strike plate provided. The only cons for me (hence the 4 stars) were: 1. Heavy duty. Much stronger and more powerful than I expected. However, I recommend the manufacturer to change the design to use mounting screws with a stronger lock. There were enough of them, but for such a weight of locks, the bolts had to be thicker. I would like to stress that the screws worked well and I put them on the double glass doors to make the doors as secure as the glass.
