Soft and warm in Knitting & Crochet

This bulky yarn goes really fast. It's soft and warm, but be careful, it can be heavy, so stitch selection is important. I like that the fibers intertwine for softness and warmth but move so they don't become stiff. The baby yarn is 100% polyester which I find makes it more stain resistant and softer than other blanket yarns. Using this yarn in different colors I knitted 4 double size blankets. All have been washed well and still look brand new. This strand is one big strand equal to 3 small…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Troublesome

Product received with manufacturing defect. I ran out of yarn between my baby blanket project and ordered extra during prime time to get it fast. Now my project is delayed because the resulting yarn has a manufacturing defect - about 3/4 of the yarn is thinned (see photo) and not rounded. Disappointed with the quality of the Bernat threads. If it were yarn I would ignore it, but the flaw seems to be present throughout the ball of yarn. This makes the pattern faint.

Pros
  • Bundles, quarters, cuts etc.
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Beware! The yarn was inconsistent.

I bought 3 Little Sandcastle sheets at a fabric store to make a baby blanket. I liked the yarn so much that I decided to make a full size blanket out of it. Unfortunately nobody else sold this color. I'm just lucky! I found it at Revain which got me very excited. Unfortunately, it was a terrible idea. Part of the yarn was just a piece of thread, other parts looked like it had been used and "unraveled" from another blanket. Only one screen out of 4 ordered turned out to be normal. Now I can't…

Attention Buyer: Yarn

Let me start by saying that I love the softness of this brand and the very fun colors. Having said that, I come to my review. I had surgery and knew I would be in bed for several months. So I bought 12 balls of yarn 6 lemonade and 6 peaches. I wanted to make 2 blankets as a gift. I ordered from Revain as I can't drive. I started with peach, I noticed thin spots, some even bare threads as well as knots and cuts. Unfortunately I was halfway to the first ball so I decided to do my best and keep…
