Once I figured them out they were perfect

It was a bit difficult to get them to work but I think it was more my fault than the product. I had to loosen the Presta valves before putting on the Schrader adapters. Somehow I couldn't inflate the tires with air even with loose Presta valves and the Schrader adapters. After double checking the description online, I tried the adapters again and everything worked fine. This is a great idea and I would recommend it to anyone who has Presta valves but only Schrader inflators.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

Easy return to normal valves

Easy to use. Simply remove the plastic Presta cap if your bike tire valve stem has one, thread the small nut around the Presta valve until it reaches the top and stops, then screw one of these adapters with the thicker end on next to the tire. Leave it on, but DO NOT unscrew any type of cap. I made that mistake and now the adapter is stuck in the black plastic cover. I found other adapters in Walmart's bike department for about a third the cost, but they're still cheap and save you the hassle…

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

A study card would be nice.

These valve adapters work great now that I know (through trial and error) how to prepare the presta valve prior to installing the adapter. I originally thought I would have to return the adapters because my compressor couldn't inflate my bike's tires. I then researched adapters online and found that I had to unscrew the presta nut before installing the adapter. Now they work like clockwork, but I would have saved a bit of time if the instructions had been included in the kit. A bonus feature…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

They work. Easier than drilling rims for Schrader valves.

Why do mountain bike rims use Presta valves? The Presta is inferior to the Schrader in every way but one, and that one aspect is irrelevant to the rim on which the 2.5″+ tire is mounted. Presta has room on narrow road bike rims, but it just sucks on a mountain bike. Don't feel like reaming your rims to use internal schrader hoses or tubeless schrader valving (which you can), this is a good way to go. Now you can use a regular pump, compressor and pressure gauge. They come in a pack of four…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Requires bushing

VERY useful when you want easy access to your air compressor

These adapters come in very handy when using an air compressor with a Schrader style valved nozzle. They are very easy to use on bike tires with Presta valves. On my bike, I just unclip the top of the Presta valve and screw this adapter directly onto the valve stem. Put the air compressor nozzle in the adapter hole and the tire will inflate very quickly (almost too quickly! Be careful not to over inflate). Unscrew the adapter, unscrew the top of the Presta valve and put the cap back on, done…

Great adapter for premium bike tubes

I have an old bike with 27 x 1-1/8" tires and found a premium tubing set with Presta valves. In fact, I accidentally order the Presta value variants as I wanted to standardize on Schrader valves. I'm looking for a good set of tubes as this bike had sentimental value and I even thought I ordered tubes with Schrader valves, but the order was for Presta valves so I had to decide which direction to go : Presta or Schrader I reviewed my options based on tire replacements in addition to inner tubes…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
