It was a bit difficult to get them to work but I think it was more my fault than the product. I had to loosen the Presta valves before putting on the Schrader adapters. Somehow I couldn't inflate the tires with air even with loose Presta valves and the Schrader adapters. After double checking the description online, I tried the adapters again and everything worked fine. This is a great idea and I would recommend it to anyone who has Presta valves but only Schrader inflators.

Easy to use. Simply remove the plastic Presta cap if your bike tire valve stem has one, thread the small nut around the Presta valve until it reaches the top and stops, then screw one of these adapters with the thicker end on next to the tire. Why do mountain bike rims use Presta valves? The Presta is inferior to the Schrader in every way but one, and that one aspect is irrelevant to the rim on which the 2.5″+ tire is mounted. These adapters come in very handy when using an air compressor with a Schrader style valved nozzle. They are very easy to use on bike tires with Presta valves. On my bike, I just unclip the top of the Presta valve and screw this adapter directly onto the valve stem. Put the air compressor nozzle in the adapter hole and the tire will inflate very quickly (almost too quickly! Be careful not to over inflate).
