Noticeably smoother ride and great looks

Your mileage may vary based on the quality of your ride. Personally I came with the Pro Comp ES9000 and they seemed good until I put them on. Of course, pro comps were about 6 years old, so they might run out. With these Bilsteins, my suspension is softer and bumps don't feel as hard and harsh on my control arms, even with my torsion bars turned up. I have them on the front of my 1998 Toyota T100 4x4 with 4" Pro Comp Lift.

Pros
  • Country of origin: USA
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Look No Further Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I have replaced the Rough Country four wheel kit with these. There is no comparison. My '96 Bronco with 6" lift rides like a dream now! The old shocks were very stiff but these are strong but smooth. This is the only shock I will be using from now on. Used but packaged like this that both were dented and torn.As I wasn't expecting this it's not a problem but I'd love to advertise Bilstein, I also wish they make an auxiliary shock absorber for the 6" lifter. so I get the quad could rebuild.

Pros
  • Bracket Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Elderly

Good entry level off-road shock absorbers

Great price on some Bilsteins. This application is listed for a full size Bronco/F150 with a height of 4 inches, but they are the ideal length for a 1991-94 Bronco II, Ranger 83-97 or Explorer. All shocks are listed for Bronco II / 4" Ranger/Explorer jacks, are 3-4" shorter and you are missing out on a lot of travel, especially if you have longer and softer springs (XJ/ZJ coils) than supplied with lift kits, destined for her. The valving seems decent for inexpensive stock off-road shocks on…

Pros
  • Package Weight: 4.7 lbs
Cons
  • Doubtful
