Works perfectly and at a great price!

What don't you like! Yes, cheaply made, but very cheap to buy and ship for less than $8! Does what it should. I use it for 65 gallon saltwater water changes, although on the working end it has a "gravel" head that goes into the tank. It is very easy to start a flow in a siphon. Just pump the blue bulb a few times and watch the water flow. Small and easy to store. Comes with an extension that can be used on both the tank and shovel side. I use it on the end of the tank and added a short length…

Exactly What I Needed - Air Pump Accessory

This gravel vacuum is exactly what I was looking for. I use this unit in 20 to 40 gallon aquariums. The crushing ball makes it easier to start the siphon. Once the suction starts it's quite powerful, much more powerful than my other gravel vacuum and takes a lot less time due to the higher flow rate. This has really reduced the time it takes for weekly water changes. Another reason I bought this item is that it has a long, stiff handle that prevents you from getting your hands under water while

Great for small, odd-shaped aquariums

I have a small, semi-circular, wall-mounted betta aquarium and I've been having a hard time finding the right gravel cleaner so I can cut down a lot on me must do a full cleaning. I have spinal issues that make cleaning difficult and don't want to hurt the fish more than necessary. Not only does this fit well, it has different attachments depending on how deep I need to get into the gravel and allows for the odd shaped tank. I love that I can pump water instead to start the water flow. I don't…

Not very good for the first time.

I've never had to clean an aquarium and didn't want to start with an expensive vacuum so I thought this would be a good test. I followed the directions and what a mess I made. The gravel got stuck, the water didn't move, then went too fast, almost sucking the fish in. God. If you don't have experience, don't try or ask someone to show you the tricks. I swung the tip around in the gravel to loosen up the dirt and then the whole tank was swimming in the mush and I couldn't suck it up and ended up

It does what it's supposed to do :)

UPDATE 2: So you edited the picture, so yeah it's the same now. So, I'll change the stars, but I still can't get it to work that well, I guess that's on me. UPDATE: Revane removed my links so I'll try to post that in the image above. My laptop is 14 inches so you can tell the size of the thing. When I came back from class today I found a HUGE gray and white bag waiting for me by the door. I opened it up and found a siphon cleaner like the label says. It's nothing like the one in the picture…

Great stuff!

This pump is perfect for cleaning out my 3 gallon tank (which I keep in my college dorm). I don't need an electric gravel cleaner as they are much more expensive and not designed for small aquariums, but I didn't get along very well without some sort of pump to get dirt off the bottom. This is the perfect solution. It's cheap and it works. I just put a bucket under my desk and let the water run into it. It takes a few times, and once you're up, you should run fast, but it'll never empty your…

The amazing power of the siphon: clean your aquarium quickly!

Received this product in the mail the other day. Finally used it today to do a partial water change and vacuum some gravel. For the past few years I've used the simplest and smallest siphon/gravel vacuum I've bought from Petsmart for my 12 gallon tank. I thought that was enough (which works anyway). However, I bought this as a secondary siphon because I will have another tank for my parents and I wanted a decent siphon that you didn't have to run the old fashioned way (you know, quickly put it…
