Ordered three of these glow detectors - all worked great

They worked as advertised for my three different 3D printers (Ender 3 Pro, Rostock Max V1 (modded) and AM-8 (rebuilt) Anet- 8) , Everyone had upgraded different SKR boards before. They have been plugged into X-Max end stops and Marlin 2.0XX minor tweaks and they do the job well. These are micro switch versions, optical versions.

They light up but don't work.

Updated the firmware, added a vscode beat sensor, changed all the necessary settings of it, connected it to my 4.2.7 board, it took the filament and caught fire. I just had high hopes that he would walk through and see the light go out and nothing else happened. The test print didn't stop and no matter what I do it just doesn't work. I'm convinced that those 5 star reviews I'm seeing were written by people who were probably paid to do so, like most reviews of printers and parts. Don't waste…

Works well but wiring is confusing unlike my original sensor and no documentation

be careful when installing this sensor. The V (voltage) and S (signal) pins are across from the impact sensor that I replaced. Since there is no information about this on the site, nor a pinout picture, I just used the same cable that was already installed on my printer. When I inserted the thread into the sensor and it worked, the light flashed briefly. and the printer restarted.
