Blocks out the sun quite well. Some sunlight peeks through the top but the darkening effect is more than adequate for a nice sleep; it really makes me feel like I'm in a hotel room. I bought beige or light cream and I was pleasantly surprised with the darkening effect. I’ll take them down and iron them but packaging wrinkles are to be expected. I have had these about 2 years and they are great. If I close them all in the day time, the room is completely dark. The color is lovely, I got the blue ones and put sheer white curtains in between. They are blue on both sides so I had to also put sheer white curtains to show on the outside (due to hoa rules a light color has to show in the window but there was no way i was returning these so I worked with it!).

Got the curtains for my daughters’s dorm room because her roommate gets migraines. They look great and work well. Arrived wrinkled only where folded for packaging.The problem is that I ordered two of the 63” and only got one of that length. The other seems twice that length so the package itself was twice the size. You’d think the person picking the order would have noticed. I am past the return date so stuck with them and out of the money as well.

These let in alot of light. You can't see through but if you are looking to keep light out these are not for you. The fabric may wrinkle easily.

I have migraines usually about 3-5 times a month. I have used several kinds of blackout curtains and haven’t been satisfied. These are a bit lighter but very sleek looking. The color matched perfectly and they were easy to put up.

I bought these to break up the white only curtains I had up. They came folded, so I put them in the dryer for 15 minutes with the dryer sheet and it came out beautiful. Don't hesitate they're really worth the money.
