The birds liked it!: Toys

I have two parrots and they liked it! Literally tore it apart. Chirping and chatting all the time like only happy birds can. I will buy again.

Not safe for birds... Foam block toys

I have had other versions of this toy and all my birds love them. Ordered it without knowing there were styrofoam pieces in it. I had to go back.

Pros
  • Excellent general properties
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good toy for grinding in toy

Your parrot needs grinding to have fun and release frustration. They are short lived for my birds but they love them and are great value for money.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

A good toy, but more suitable for a small bird.

My Green Cheek Conure really liked the toy for exactly 1 day. That's how long it took her to turn him to dust. So if you are buying a budgie, a medium size will fit you. For a medium-sized bird, choose a large one. And if you have more than one ray of sunshine, keep looking. this is not for you

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Long delivery time

My parrot loves this toy!

This toy is well made and has no safety hazards such as loose laces. I filled the finger traps with pieces of millet and my budgie spent a lot of time destroying this toy to get the treats. He has a lot of fun destroying it. It lasts long enough for a budgie and I think it's good value for the money. My cage bird has a couple of wooden kebabs, so that's not the only chew toy. This toy was enough for 2 months of daily chewing.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • poorly thought out

My cockatiel's favorite toy!

My cockatiels love Bonka Bird toys the most, but this is their favorite! I would give it 5 stars except I have to agree with another reviewer that rubber bands are not good for birds and can actually kill them. When I first bought this toy, I put it in a cage and didn't notice the round piece of rubber. Charlie had it in his mouth less than a minute after the toy was in her cage. Luckily I saw it right away. Now I cut them right off the toys. They are also on other toys. Bonke should really…

I usually write good reviews. However, this product is not safe for birds. I have a sun conure named Mojo, his favorite finger trap chew toy, so the reason I bought this toy is because of the rubber parts. They are located between the finger traps and the rubber band at the bottom of the toy. I had to inspect the toy before my daughter put it in the Mojos cage where after about 30 minutes the rubber bands were cut off and ended up in his mouth. This is very dangerous, if you swallow the pieces…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

The bird is not happy.

This is a very BIG toy and my lovebird is scared of it. First I hung it in the middle of the cage. but she was so afraid of it that whenever she moved she clung to the walls of her cage to avoid him. So I moved it to one of the side walls of the cage. where she has the ability to chew on it, but nothing else interferes. I've had it for a few weeks now. she still hasn't touched him. But like any other pet, each of them has its own character. Likes and dislikes etc. It doesn't seem to be for YOU.
