Description of Tulip Etimo Crochet Hook, Size F5/3.75mm - Bottle Cap TPECH-F/5

CARON-Tulip Etimo Crochet Hooks. Doris Chan says it best: The biggest advantage of the ETIMO hook is the elastomeric comfort grip. It is revolutionary, supremely comfortable, functional, and durable. It has a soft, smooth, cushy feel and fits perfectly in my hand. She never wants to be without hers.

The best hook

I have arthritis in my right thumb. This makes it difficult to crochet for long periods of time. This is the most comfortable hook I have ever used. I've tried at least a dozen different hooks, this one is the best. I have spares in case they stop posting this one!

Pros
  • She never wants to part with hers
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Raised bubble causes caption! So disappointed!

Boo! Despite FIVE "No" answers to my question about the raised lettering on the handle, imagine my surprise when I excitedly open the package to find the raised letters "Tulip" and "Japan" on the same side of the handle where the where my ankle is. I'll try to seal it with duct tape but I'm not expecting much. A very poor choice of place to post this information, clearly thought up by someone who doesn't crochet.

Pros
  • It's revolutionary, incredibly comfortable, functional and durable
Cons
  • High price

The product is incorrectly labeled. This really is a 3.75mm HOOK.

Although I have nearly 50 hooks, I didn't have the 3.75mm hook needed for the new project . I'm always looking for a Boye-type point and hook without a long neck. This hook meets those needs while also being ergonomic and comfortable, which is important to me as I deal with the pain and disfigurement of CRPS in my right hand. The price was exceptional on this hook. I've seen many others like this for $18.

Pros
  • Doris Chan puts it best: The biggest benefit of the ETIMO hook is the comfortable elastomeric grip
Cons
  • boring packaging
