My wife brought one of these peelers into our marriage. I have a juicer and we go through so many bags of oranges. I've tried other citrus peelers but this one is my favorite. I don't know how old the original is (at least 15 years old). It eventually showed severe wear from heavy use. They are exactly the same as theirs. I didn't really need 6 of these so I took 1 to work, kept 2 in the kitchen (in case one got dirty) and gave the other 3 to friends and family.

I love this orange tool! I even bought them for my 19 year old daughter who is about to move for the first time, as a reminder to take home because we had them all her childhood and secondly because she loves them! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the handle part on them doesn't seem as solid as the ones we've had for years which have slowly faded. And our old ones had a sharper point on the thick end that you slide over the orange peel to peel the orange. But that's…
