Bought two of these. The wireless connection is the worst Wi-Fi I've ever had. I have the latest Netgear Nighthawks at home and commercial grade Cisco at work. If you sit next to the router, the page transfer takes 20-45 seconds. So a 10-page document literally takes 5 minutes. In earnest. If you are more than 20 feet away, the connection often drops and you have to re-enter your network password. If you're comfortable reprogramming your wireless router's advanced settings, you might be able to

Amazing scanner with a 3/4 inch binding clip for 4 cents

Amazing scanner with a 3/4 inch binding clip for 4 cents. Setup was relatively easy (but I'm a gadget lover, so I'm used to installing software/devices/etc). Out of the box the scans were TERRIBLE because NOTHING was even remotely straight (yes I used tiny paper guides but they are too short). Instead of returning the product and looking for another product, I found an incredibly easy/inexpensive solution to my problem - place a 3/4" paper clip on the top/left edge of the flip paper holder…

WILL BE COMPLETELY UNUSEABLE IN A FEW WEEKS

When I first bought this printer I really liked it despite a few flaws. The only thing I was initially dissatisfied with was the document feeder. These are just tiny stoppers on each side of the sheet and you need to hold on to the papers to make sure they go straight and don't get stuck. However, his other skills made it worth it. I've been using this printer for about 12-15 weeks now. It has completely stopped working in almost every way. It has become completely useless. Wi-Fi no longer…

Large scanner SMALL

Finally decided to get out of the paper world. I have three filing cabinets full of business and personal documents that I want to scan and store online. I looked closely at many scanners and decided to try this one. I've been using it for about a week and I'm not disappointed. The form factor is great as it sits quietly on my desk when not in use. Set up was very easy, nothing left to do but insert the CD, plug in the USB and power on. It took me a few minutes to understand the controls and…

Publicly announce here from 10/2017,

Publicly announce here from 10/2017. The Brother software and drivers for this product appear to be out of date and have some pretty serious incompatibility issues related to the wireless networking features with Windows 10. The most common errors I've encountered are the device not detecting the network computer in question /could connect. inconsistent deletion of scan jobs or getting stuck in the middle of a job when merging or sending. If you plan to physically connect this device to your…
