Disappointing 3D Printing Filament

Through trial and error, I found that this filament is difficult to work with and consistently produces low-quality prints. The only positive is that it is advertised for industrial and scientific use. However, the lackluster performance makes it not worth the investment.

Pros
  • Advertised for industrial and scientific use
Cons
  • Difficult to work with, low-quality prints

Vibrant Colors: Additive Manufacturing Products

This filament has a very good color range. I've printed quite a bit of purple and it hardly fades at temperatures well above the recommended printing temperatures. The spool is well designed, with lots of holes. It extrudes very smoothly at a speed of 100-120mm/s at 260.

Pros
  • Elongation at break is three times higher than PLA
Cons
  • Something different

Very durable and usable if printed correctly

As expected More difficult to print than ABS+ and similar materials as the adhesion to the layer (pure PEI) is below 105- not strong enough is 110 deg CI, had good success with layer at 105 and nozzle at 255. Photos show recent printing, usually difficult with ABS (high angles, table movement, no enclosure, ambient temperature 25 deg C). Artifacts due to lack of pressure and a shaky Z-axis are not characteristic of the filament. Really good strength and adhesion of the layers at the moment…

Pros
  • Suitable for all FFF/FDM 3D printers with heated build plate
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
