Excellent quality - powerful starter

I replaced the starter motor on my 1999 Cadillac Deville. It fit perfectly. And it still works perfectly. I hope this lasts long.

Save some money

I was initially skeptical about this starter motor for my '05 Deville. But after reading the reviews and trusting my intuition, I decided to buy it. Arrived on time and considered where Northstar placed the starter. There was a task to install. Tested the starter before installing it and it still works today. I recommend this product to anyone considering a purchase.

This is my 2005 Cadillac DeVille.

Darn good price for a new starter motor for my 2005 Cadillac Deville. The hardest part is removing the injectors and ordering new manifold gaskets when you reassemble them. The cost of disassembly is quite high, the mechanic charged me about $180. I'm sure if you remove the air diffuser you'll find a squirrel or rat nest in the opposite indentation, which was the case for me. Just be sure to look for broken or chewed wires from these rodents.

Complete garbage. Be Careful

Be Careful, Piece of Trash! The first died after 5 days, the second lasted longer, but made a terrible noise, like pulling out teeth on the flywheel. This one lasted about 3 months, needless to say I have to pay $150 for a tow truck, both times it broke down, the car wasn't home, find out. On a Cadillac Deville you have to dismantle the intake manifold, that's about 3-4 hours of work, after 2 false starts I took apart the engine cover 3 times, this company should be held responsible for the…

Reliable Lifesaver! I bought a starter from a parts store and they ended up sending me the wrong type of starter for the Ford F150! After paying a decent amount to return a product, I found that my budget limit was now $70 instead of $120.
