Works great. Since it is an all-wheel drive car, the installation took longer due to the front axle. The starters are not to blame. It hasn't turned on for a long time, but the engine revs up quickly. You need to unscrew the wiring and install the hanging starter wiring to make it easier for you. It's a lot of pressure but it will go in so be patient

Bought this starter because it had to contain a long screw. My 1999 Silverado has a long screw and a short screw, so I needed a long screw to install it since two long screws are required. However, it arrived without the screw that was supposed to be supplied. So I'm sending it back and ordering another starter.

2001 Silverado v8 4.8 just fitted very easy, car wheel removed, plastic trim removed, connector removed, 2 screws pulled out from the bottom and pulled out from the bottom (it took a while to pull it out). Works great, will change stars if it stops working within a year. One screw was missing, that was the only problem, but instead of two from the previous item.

Original has been in my truck for 18 years. I ordered this and after 4 months it stopped working. Revain won't do anything as it's been over 30 days and the seller won't replace it either. It comes with a one year warranty which is useless as none of them will take it back.
