Best for workshop and shop

I received the pan earlier than expected and it is exactly as described. Unfortunately it didn't have the PVC fitting that was supposed to be included. Now I can't plan a visit until I get to the store and buy it.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Excellent skillet. Very flexible, which is important during installation.

Excellent frying pan. Very flexible which is very important if you are installing the water heater yourself as you can tilt the water heater up and insert half of the tray underneath whilst at the same time sliding the water heater onto the rest of the tray.

Pros
  • Everything OK!
Cons
  • Quality

It worked great and failed.

I had to install a water heater under the stairs and crushed this pan in the process. It popped up again and fitted perfectly. The fittings were as described, 3/4" PVC female, ready to use, everything worked well, was very satisfied, would buy again.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Good but not great

It's a drip tray, but it's not bad

Could be a bit more durable, but I can't complain about the price. I was installing a new water heater (Shark-Bite fittings made it easy) and wanted to relocate every possible drain hole. It looks like it will do the job, but I'd be very careful about moving it.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Little things

This is a drip pan suitable for transferring fuel and lubricants.

Does what it advertises for about half the price of the big stores. Looking at how our water heater sits right at the back entrance of our home, I like that it's black and it kind of complements our dark wood laminate floors. I didn't want an ugly stainless steel drip tray in this area. I wish I could disguise the ugly hot water tank somehow.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Great for plant drainage trays! HOOK!

I use them as drainage trays for my plants. Works pretty well. I am still pumping out the last of the water as there is about a quarter inch of water left in the sump. Whether you're using it for a water heater or plants it's a good product, the drain is easy to fit and the included foam gasket makes an airtight seal so there are no leaks. A good buy saved me some money as I didn't have to spend more money on other drainage options, all of which were slightly more expensive.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Almost never

Perfect for use as pallets under HUGE planters!

I bought these to use as pallets under the HUGE houseplants that are in large pots around our house. I had a hard time finding regular saucers for these pots because they are so big. When I managed to find the right saucer, the price was astronomical, and the shipping cost was the same as the saucer! It's the perfect solution to the problem and they have a handy drain plug. If I accidentally pour water, I can open the stopper and drain the water. I put these pots under the planters and mountedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing
