First you need to build your own flagpole. I made my pipe out of 5ft 2" PVC pipe and bought a small end cap for it. Then I took two eyebolts, two carabiners and a flag. That's literally all. I drilled another hole in the coupler itself because I didn't want the hitch to stick out that far. This product works well enough if you are looking for a stationary flag stand. But for driving with a flag on the street I would look for a different product.
