Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

In general, the manufacturer’s device turned out to be very successful, but I’ll make a reservation right away - perhaps not the best option for those who are just getting acquainted with a DSLR, and there are several reasons for this: 1) requires good l-series optics 2) all the same, the auto-button is superfluous here and does not give any sense. But these are trifles, since the machine is magnificent ! a good competitor 7d which is many times more expensive although not a full frame))))…

Pros
  • Battery screen rate of fire (with additional bat handle) quality convenience price
Cons
  • probably only the cover of the memory card . some kind of unpleasant feeling))) but this is already nit-picking)

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

The device was taken primarily for video. I use ML firmware, which significantly expands the capabilities of the device and ease of use, i. E. compensates for everything that marketers squeezed. When you get the feeling that the camera no longer provides the required quality, try shooting video in RAV (ML it can). Of course, the take is limited to 10-14 seconds (and the same amount of time will be a simple device when the buffer is freed), but what happens in the end is heaven and earth…

Pros
  • In skillful hands gives a quality result. The swivel screen is convenient. The ergonomic layout of the buttons allows you to control almost all the main functions without getting into the wilds of the menu - this also applies to photos and videos. Quite tenacious with a booster. Oddly enough, but the built-in flash is also good, in the absence of an external flash it will save you from complete darkness, and also allows you to set fire to two external flashes standing separately without using a synchronizer.
Cons
  • The elastic bands covering the body tend to stretch a little with a certain grip and peel off after 2 years, the issue is solved with a light trimming and super-glue gel. Cannot write video files for more than 12 minutes, requires restarting REC (even with ML and the auto restart function there will be a hole for 2-3 seconds) Mediocre built-in microphone.

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

At the moment, after the release of the 70D, this is the best choice of DSLR in terms of price-quality ratio. Now, for a little over 20 thousand, you can take quite an adult device, which at the time of release cost almost twice as much. And do not look at the novelty of the digic 4 processor or 5. For 90% of people, there will be absolutely no objective difference, for example, 650D is slower than 60D, although on a new processor. It's about the class of the camera, the rate of fire, the ease…

Pros
  • Swivel screen, ergonomics close to older models, no touchscreen
Cons
  • Screen embellishes colors

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

Since 2022, I wanted to take this SLR, then somehow I forgot, and this year I still switched to a mirror. In the end, I chose between 650 and 60 . the first one attracted me with a new process and a touch screen (it was interesting), but still a model with one zero is better for me . Be sure to take a 17-55 lens with the camera (do not spare money) or, for starters, 50 1/8 (cheap, but there is already a sense) .

Pros
  • Everything is already written. An excellent inexpensive model on a crop. The main advantages (everything else in this class is the same) compared to classmates for me is a swivel screen, the presence of a second display, a good battery (like Mark 3), the rate of fire is better, the weight is heavier (which is a plus for me) .
Cons
  • not 35 format))) no masterpiece button

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not happy with this product, bad in use.

Since the field of activity concerns photographic equipment directly, all models of this manufacturer are included in the sample. And you can always expect some kind of pleasant news. Not so this time. 60ka frankly disappointed. A really unnecessary model in the Canon series. 50d - as planned, it is unlikely to replace, and it is very far from the seven, both in price and quality. As the first DSLR, it is expensive, and a person who understands and shoots is unlikely to want it. Although, like

Pros
  • Of the advantages, one can only name the presence of a good video, coupled with a swivel display. Although, again, the difference with the D550 is difficult to catch.
Cons
  • There are too many of them on this model. A car for (on average) 39000-45000 per carcass should not be like that. The plastic body is like on younger brothers, cheap, creaky plastic. Such a case is made on budget models in order to reduce the cost, but what is it here? They spoiled Canon's signature theme, namely the twist. Sticking a joystick in the middle. Now it's not. If the fingers are slightly larger than those of a 7 year old child, it becomes very uncomfortable to twist, and the joystick is constantly touched. incomprehensible Lock on the programmer. All my life I used it without a lock, now you constantly forget. You're wasting time. In general, I don’t know what is the reason, but the ergonomics have been spoiled. This is recognized even by those who are among the fans of Canon. With regards to photography, a noisy matrix, small working ISOs.

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

Before that, I used a Canon SX100 (soap dish) and a 450d SLR. After the 450th, I was surprised by a really better picture in all respects: color depth, contrast, dynamic range of the matrix . I began to shoot in raw format and process it, the quality and color became even better. With Canon 40mm f2.8, 24-105mm f4 L, Sigma 50mm f1.4 lenses, the device proved itself just fine! With sigma, wonderful portraits began to turn out. For an evening landscape, there is still not enough dynamic range and…

Pros
  • Really good picture quality! Autofocus works well, does not smear on the central sensor. Convenient menu. The upper control roller is conveniently located under the index finger.
Cons
  • The swivel screen is a flimsy creature on a thin hinge! This design is needed only for video. Extra Q button, worthless, unused. Due to the recessed joypad inside the rotary ring, sometimes fuzzy switching, especially when pressed at 45 degrees when shifting the focus point. Quite loud and hard, by modern standards, the shutter slams. Uncomfortably low (unlike Nikon) is the joypad and swivel ring on the back of the case. When squeezed, the shutter button is tight, sometimes causing a stir (unlike Nikon).

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

So what do we have left? An excellent camera, one of the best on the market and perhaps the best in its segment for the needs of semi-professionals. Competitors are the older Sony and Pentax models with their own "features", as well as the magnificent Nikon D7000 (the newer D7100 is much more expensive - it's harder to compare). In short, Nikon will give you slightly better colors for landscape photography out of the box, it has less noise and a wider dynamic range, but serious problems with…

Pros
  • - The most affordable serious Canon camera - Large, with a comfortable grip, all the necessary places are rubberized, and the control dials are in place - General ergonomics for 5 points (almost everything from quick settings changes to thoughtful digging in the menu is done very quickly - see comments) - The viewfinder is bright, informative enough in terms of getting into focus (plus the focusing screen can be changed) - Swivel screen - Histogram on the screen in "live view" mode - 9 autofocus sensors in their places in the center, along the edges and at the points of the golden ratio (switch in one click, 50 points in the center are much more convenient) - All AF sensors are cross-type, with a suitable lens, AF is very fast and very accurate (also in tracking mode) - In live view mode, the camera can raise the mirror for half a second to focus as quickly and accurately as possible with phase sensors - Intense yet natural colors and GREAT skin tones (a major selling point for Canon models) - "Standard" color profile is really universal (but it is better to increase the sharpness to a value of 4-5) - High detail images when using high-quality optics - Precise white balance (preserves harmony between accurate color reproduction and lighting atmosphere) - There is a mode for manually entering the color temperature in K (say, if you know the color temperature of the lamps) - Four useful and accurate metering modes - The widest ability to adjust colors and tonal curve using a proprietary program, as a result we can get any desired picture and save it in cameras as a color profile - The 5D Mark II's huge battery holds over 1,000 shots, or three not-too-intense shooting days - Naturally hot shoe and generally compatible with a bunch of lenses and accessories - The working length of the camera (the distance from the lens mount to the matrix) allows you to put a whole huge park of old optics without "dancing with a tambourine"
Cons
  • - The viewfinder does not have a grid (it can be solved by changing the focusing screen) and does not provide 100% frame coverage, plus I would like a bigger and denser eyecup - Buttons on the back and top panels and inside the rear control dial are pressed without clicking, there is no confirmation of pressing - The buttons on the rear panel (Q, Menu, Play) are recessed into the case, they are difficult to find and press blindly - The button for previewing the depth of field under the bayonet mount is hard to press (but it is) - The screen is cruelly "blind" in the sun - No in-camera autofocus fine-tuning - Noise level at medium ISO values, especially chromatic (color) noise - Dynamic range (the ability to reproduce shades in highlights and shadows) is narrower than competitive products - Slightly "warm" color rendering by default (may become very "warm" under some shooting conditions) - Red colors can "knock out" (the nuances of shades disappear in bright light) - White balance shift is entered only for all presets at once (someone will find it inconvenient, and for good reason) - Color profiles other than "Standard" and "Neutral" seem slightly odd and lean towards reddish hues - In the proprietary program, you can not fine-tune the "monochrome" profile (sadness for a hipster) - In-camera conversion from RAW to JPEG is painful compared to Nikon's similar functionality (see comments) - The camera "likes" to collect dust particles on the mirror (subjectively) - The body plastic (polycarbonate) subjectively looks cheaper and is more easily soiled compared to Nikon's textured plastic - Big weight (for someone)

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

For several years I successfully used Fuji 9600. I decided to switch to a "mirror". The choice of system according to the principle: "blue", "yellow", etc. - false stereotypes. The modern figure allows you to twist the colors as your heart desires. Therefore, when choosing, I proceeded from the availability of lenses and accessories. I settled on Canon - in our region this is the most famous brand. I did not pay attention to the model of the xxxD series: tactile and psychological sensations

Pros
  • - manufacturing quality; - functionality; - comfort; - Satisfactory results of the Jeep; - etc. etc.
Cons
  • No

I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

the first DSLR, about which I read only negative reviews before buying, discouraged everyone with whom I spoke. I compared it with 550d, 7d and some kind of Nikon for an extremely long time. the latter immediately disappeared, the XXXd line disappeared due to the fact that I simply didn’t like the ergonomics and, as they say, “didn’t fit in my hand”, 7d is still too expensive, so I opted for the 60th, which I never regretted. all the shortcomings listed by me are not significant at all and…

Pros
  • ergonomics: an incredibly convenient arrangement of buttons, wheels, all kinds of twists, etc., after a short use, the fingers travel intuitively even in almost complete darkness; lock button on the mode wheel: a very useful thing, because. there is always confidence that you are shooting in the right mode (especially important when you need to quickly pull out a photo and start shooting); display, or rather its size + bright and rich display of colors; swivel display: to be honest, I appreciated its advantages only after a year of use, at first, too, how the vast majority rotted it, but on a crop it is a very necessary thing that gives mobility of use and a lot of opportunities, such as shooting from a low or, conversely, high point; convenient menu, which also intuitively navigates from the very first day of purchase; a small display showing the settings (although this is a merit of the XXd-line); very capacious battery: under normal weather conditions, shoots at 900-1000 shots; built-in cleaning system; sits in the hand like a glove (for example, unlike the XXXd line); build quality is amazing, but the Japanese (!); amazing HD video quality (someone may complain that the camera is only for taking pictures and the video function is not needed, but there are all sorts of moments); extremely fast response to pressing the shutter button even when the camera is in "sleep" mode (just a few milliseconds)
Cons
  • with the first drawback that I encountered is the instruction in the kit: it will sound funny, but on the title page it was written 50d, 60d, but in fact the instruction was devoted to 50d, so changing the ergonomics and much more and leaving the instructions for the previous model - it was just a misunderstanding (!), I had to intuitively master absolutely EVERYTHING in the conditions that it was the first SLR; the "video" mode is extremely far abandoned from manual modes, I don't know how significant this is, but it would be nice to move it immediately after or, conversely, before the manual; it’s inconvenient to choose focus points, because even with my thin fingers I constantly miss, I have to constantly scroll the wheel, which creates certain inconveniences, incl. time costs; I don’t know how it is in other models, but the focal length display is very lacking in the viewfinder: this, of course, is more likely not a drawback, but just my request, because I often shoot panoramas where it is important not to knock down the focal length

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Approached seriously to the choice, in the future to engage in photography. And so, after reading an unrealistic amount of reviews about SLR cameras - it turned out to be a mess in my head, I decided to go to the store and buy in person. I chose between 650d and 60d. So the 650d seemed to me like a toy with an uncomfortable button layout and without a top screen, despite the touch screen and digic 5 processor. I bought a carcass with a canon 50mm 1.8 II, since the whale seemed creepy and dark…

Pros
  • - very good build quality - for me personally, it sits like a glove in my hands - the buttons are very convenient, if you don't have huge fingers of course - the wheel for switching shooting modes seemed quite convenient to me (I rarely shoot videos, so it may seem tedious for someone to twist the entire mode in one direction back and forth) - everything suits the menu, you just need to learn how to use and read the instructions - very convenient top screen with backlight, no need to constantly turn on the main display The battery lasts a long time which is a huge plus! - it works smartly, does not blunt and does not creak (you need to buy a memory card of class 10 - no less, otherwise I look, they write that this is the camera's fault) - swivel screen, convenient (I always close it when I'm not taking it off so that it doesn't get scratched) - color reproduction is excellent, but it depends directly on the lens ! (in Nikon D90, the color rendering turned out to be really worse, but . it’s quite possible that the lens was on it with an inexpensive sigma) the tonal range at ff is certainly better, but here are the reviews about the crop! - synchronization with external flashes
Cons
  • - the mirror and focusing screen love dust, but this is from frequent lens changes. - many automatic shooting modes as many as 9 pieces

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

What can I say, the camera is not bad for the money. Moreover, it can be bought now for 25 thousand. They write that the camera is worse than 40D, 50D only because it is not made of magnesium and the speed has dropped, but this is not so. Yes, the speed has decreased by 1 frame in total, and that from this you will not be able to shoot dynamics. 1 frame is not critical. Regarding magnesium, I agree that the camera does not inspire confidence to the touch, but it depends on what to compare…

Pros
  • Like everyone else, it fits well in the hand, convenient controls, a swivel screen (although I rarely use it, but for macro photography or shooting a stationary object from an unusual angle, it can even come in handy). He often helps me out. I think it will come in handy for you, and if you don’t need it, don’t rotate it, that’s all. 18MP is a huge plus. I realized this myself when I first sprinkled frames without losing quality. You can sprinkle with confidence. Detailing is preserved at the same time and it pleases. You will understand this yourself when you frame it incorrectly and start cutting off the excess. The menu is clear, you can see what and where, you do not need to read the instructions once again to find one or another item. Pretty good focusing in Ai-servo, but often misses if the object is moving at a very high speed or there is an obstacle in the way, or when several objects are moving randomly at once. But in most cases, 9 points are enough. I shoot reports myself and I can say that the focus is confident, but not always. And in general, it focuses quite quickly on the central point. The Live View mode is well organized, though slow focus, but accurate, if pointed, then to the point. It is very convenient to change the exposure settings in Live View and see how the exposure changes. The battery charge lasts a very long time. Filmed two dog shows 2022 frames without recharging. Still 10% charge left. Was extremely surprised.
Cons
  • Lockable mode switch. The blocker slows down the entire shooting process. At the beginning, well, it was very difficult to switch from Av to Tv and so on. Now I shoot exclusively in M mode and don’t even worry. Inaccurate exposure metering in automatic modes. The "Sport" mode is a good mode for beginners, but one thing, the pictures in this mode are overexposed, i. E. overexposed. Strongly lifts ISO, even where it is not necessary. In Sports mode, be careful when shooting white subjects on a sunny day. Auto ISO also does not work accurately. Therefore, you need to turn everything with your hands, including your head, and that's the only way. The buffer fills up quickly after long bursts. The camera cannot continue shooting after the buffer is full, and this is sometimes annoying. But I understand that this is not a reportage camera and it is simply stupid to demand a recording speed from it. The solution is to shoot at 10 megapixels or wait for the right moment and then shoot in bursts. Well, or shoot in extreme cases only in Jpeg. What else to write about the cons, if only that the buttons are flat to the touch. At first I pressed and did not understand whether I pressed it or not, but over time I got used to it.

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

At this moment, exactly a year (plus or minus half a month). It used to be 1000d, the difference is noticeable as soon as I pick it up. Good very lies in my paw. I took it as something between the bottom of the crop and the full - just to understand until the end I need it or not. After using it for 1000, it’s just heaven and earth - more sensitivity is working, it doesn’t make noise almost in the first half of ISO, which is enough for the eyes. I also like the shooting speed and shutter sound

Pros
  • Upper screen. Nimble when shooting, good moisture protection, the location of the buttons, video shooting.
Cons
  • it's probably not ff, but it's a bit of a race for that kind of money)

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

For a long time I chose between Nikon D7000, Sony DSLR-A580 and Canon 60D. On the Internet, I dug up forums for probably six months. Then I went to the store and looked Nikon and Canon. Recorded pictures on a flash drive. As soon as he took the 60D in his hands, the advantage immediately fell in his direction. Yes, and from the photographs, the 60D seemed better to me. The 60D also won in price. In general, whoever thinks about choosing a camera from this segment, take the Canon EOS 60D. If you

Pros
  • - Ergonomic body (Very comfortable grip, which even influenced my choice of device) - Quite a capacious battery. - Optional top display with backlight. You can rotate the main screen inward and adjust to the top to save battery. - A large number of controls (although it depends on what to compare, but my needs are such that I occasionally go into the menu to change settings) - Bright screen with good resolution. Photos on it look better, so sometimes it creates a deceptive impression. - ISO step 1/3 - Automation works well. And it tries not to set a long shutter speed, and the ISO does not bully. The white balance also rarely misses. - Focuses from 18-55 pretty quickly. The Matrix has performed well. Compared to the EOS 500D (there is a 15-megapixel sensor), there is less noise, if I'm not mistaken. But with my 18-55, the photos are not as clear as I would like. Although with a short shutter speed and with a tripod, I think the result will be better. - Good build quality. Nothing backlash, does not crack. - Checked for broken pixels. In my copy it was, if my memory serves me, only 1 hot at a shutter speed of 2 seconds.
Cons
  • - The main drawback of the camera for me is, it is not clear why, equipped with a lock button, a mode switching ring. I really don't understand why it had to be done. - Swivel screen. For me, a drawback, although I used it a couple of times, but without it it would be better, and then the screen off sensor would be.

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Chose between 550D, 7D, 60D. Of course, I was only interested in Canon. We all know that Samsung is a good TV, Sony is a good game console, Panasonic and so on are not cameras. Canon or Nikon. Nikon has models with a similar image quality, with a similar cost. But I was set to Canon from the very beginning. And Nikon held for comparison. He did not sit in his hands for more than 10 minutes, he realized that this was not mine. held the D7000. Compared 7D, 550D, 60D. (mainly the difference in…

Pros
  • Build quality, weight (immodest mass of the camera, eliminates its shaking during shooting), control (two wheels, on top and under the thumb, for instant adjustment of shutter speed and aperture), design, photo quality (550D, 7D) similar, swivel display ( very convenient in many cases), HD video, resolution and number of screen colors, very high battery capacity, second display with settings, very comfortable in the hand. Not magnesium alloy, but modern plastic - in my opinion the right decision.
Cons
  • lack of a built-in stabilizer, adjustment functions. (I personally did not lose anything from their absence)

Best price for this product, will buy more!

Switched from 500D, which I shot for about 3 years. 60D significantly wins in all respects. The quality of the pictures makes me very happy, even with the old 18-55 IS2 and 50mm 1.8. In the hand, it lies much nicer: a little heavier and larger than the 500th, which is a plus for me. At the same ISO in similar conditions, the noise is much less pronounced and they somehow look better (I don’t know what this is connected with). Finally, the annoying soapiness of photos is gone (although the…

Pros
  • upper display convenient AF point selection one hand control external flash control convenient joystick conveniently located left button the swivel screen sometimes helps out a lot great video price!
Cons
  • the inability to quickly switch from photo to video (for example, as it is implemented in 7D) many unnecessary green zone modes didn't find anything else

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expectations were not met, average quality.

In general, the impressions are contradictory. On the one hand, a very high quality matrix. Good color. Low noise level. Very good screen. On the other hand, this is combined with absolutely no management. Functions such as white balance, photo quality, flash control only through the menu. For example, in general, well-implemented wireless control is combined with the fact that it is necessary to climb into the wilds of the menu, which is very long and inconvenient. And at the same time…

Pros
  • -Good matrix. The noise level is low. Even ISO 2022, 2500 is working. Good color. Detail (even at high ISO). -Good screen. It is now possible to really evaluate the quality of the photo. - Built-in flash controller. Two groups of flashes can be controlled.
Cons
  • The most important is management. It is of no use. Primitive. A lot of the necessary functions are hardwired far into the menu. -Small plastic case. If you hang 580EX on it, holding 24-105 is not at all convenient.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

At first I tossed between 650D and 60D. The first is also a very worthy device. In any case, both of them are equally suitable for unhurried shooting (and 600D too). The difference is noticeable only when "reporting", when you need to have time to "shoot" a series, and only then choose a good shot. For this, the 60D is better suited. But compared to the 600/650, it has larger dimensions and weight, and you should not forget about this either. So decide for yourself what is more important to you

Pros
  • As a replacement for the 400D, this camera is one big plus. I liked the burst speed. Feels good in the hand. In general, the ergonomics are excellent, all the buttons are in place. additional screen with indication of shooting parameters with illumination - it is convenient to use at night. Relatively small carcass weight (compared to "metal" counterparts) I'm not particularly critical of the body materials, the main thing is that it be of high quality. With the 400D, which also has a plastic body material, for 4 years of active shooting, in nature, in the rain, with small bumps, I did not experience any problems. I liked the battery life. It is the same as on the 5D, unlike the 600D and 650D, at first I wanted to take the 650D (I also liked it very much), but the 60D is better suited for reportage shooting, because the rate of fire and battery charge are higher. About the quality of the picture, perhaps, it makes no sense to write, you can see in my profile. In general, I am very pleased with my device. I also like the sound of the shutter :)
Cons
  • For me, not only a disadvantage, but a surprise, after the 400D there was a button on the mode dial that prevents the wheel from accidentally turning without pressing this button. How it can be "accidentally" turned, I have no idea. But it seems to be a matter of habit. The price of course came out tidy (see comment)

Best price for this product, will buy more!

Speaking about the 60th chamber, I would like to say that it was released to close the hole between the initial class and the semi-professional. The body has been simplified to make the camera understandable to the average user. Speaking frankly, 60d is the same 550th, the only difference is only in the case and a larger working iso. This is probably something in between for those who do not want to take a simple DSLR with a minimum of buttons, but are not ready for something serious (7d, 5d).

Pros
  • Pretty high working ISO (at 1600 it’s acceptable to shoot, 3200 starts to noticeably make noise), swivel screen (although for some it’s a plus, for some it’s a minus), light weight due to the combined body, solid plastic case, comfortable handle, fast focusing, reasonable price for a camera of this class.
Cons
  • Of the shortcomings, only ergonomics (but rather this is my personal opinion)

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

Light wrote in the merits and demerits intentionally. At first it was a virtue, then I bought a heavy flash and a lens, and now the lightness plays a minus for me, since my hand literally goes to a break. For example, I twisted 7D, it’s a completely different matter, it is heavier, but in the hands it’s just poured. I use with a 24-105L lens and EX600 flash. In my opinion, the best choice for a beginner: not particularly expensive, but more or less a serious device. And at the same time…

Pros
  • Comfortable grip, light*, quite acceptable noise up to 1600 ISO (then a sharp deterioration), ergonomics are on top, good photo quality, a simple and understandable menu.
Cons
  • Lightweight*, some issues with focusing, no lens adjustment.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

A lot of people here talk about the disadvantages, such as: 1) "the lens adjustment was removed" - but few people know that on 50d this button really did not change anything. Checked. 2) "removed the screen off sensor" - why do the screen when shooting? all information is displayed on the top small display. 3) "reduced burst speed to 5.3 frames / sec." - well, at 18 mp, of course, the speed of the series drops, but in practice it is imperceptible. 4) "batteries and high-speed SD cards are…

Pros
  • In addition to all the main advantages of Canon EOS: Comfortable grip, ergonomics. Function "level" A high-quality display, you can really assess whether the picture is well taken. Capacious battery (~1000 shots) Convenient joystick (e. G. for selecting focus points)
Cons
  • Perhaps the only drawback is that when burst shooting in RAW, after 10-15 frames, the camera "freezes" while recording to SD (even a high-speed card does not save here). But this is not a drawback rather, but a feature of continuous shooting in RAW, nothing more.
