What a great scanner

I like it. It's fast and pretty. Auto selects whether the paper is single-sided or double-sided. Very happy with this purchase. Automatic scanning in black and white or color mode.

Multiple sites grab and suck at the same time

I don't think it's worth the price. Several pages are recorded and sucked in at the same time. I need help archiving it with more paper.

Works perfectly ! suitable for scanners

First . was a real pain to use. The scanner driver kept crashing. It can even cause Adobe Acrobat to hang when creating a PDF file from a scanner. Very annoying and almost useless. We have several previous models and they never had such problems. BUT. Canon has released new Windows drivers for this. And the updates fixed everything! This is now our favorite scanner. Don't know why it doesn't have the best reviews but it's very reliable

I've used a variety of Canon scanners over the years. Not sure why this doesn't have better reviews but it's very solid. In a month of daily use, I haven't missed a single page. Extremely fast and good automatic detection of double-sided pages. Its compact size makes it portable (it easily fits in a backpack along with a laptop) and doesn't take up much desk space even when stationary. Super fast suitable for office electronics

This is the fastest handheld scanner we use. We take them to the streets and literally scan thousands of pages with them. I highly recommend getting a Canon Care Pack for this. We contacted Canon to fix one bought in 2012 (turned out it just needed replacing the user-replaceable reels). Canon doesn't fix them. They only offer an exchange for devices with no warranty. Excellent scanner, if a bit pricey

Im impressed with this scanner. It's so tiny, but works like the big ones. I really wish it had slightly larger I/O trays, but other than that it's amazing. The software is a bit buggy. There is a bug in the CaptureOnTouch software where you select job #1 on the scanner and press start and job #1 is not selected so job #1 in the software is useless unless you choose specifically job #1 in the software. #2-9 work exactly as they should.
