Attractive and compact

Grinds beans well, a little noisy and a little dirty. Just make sure you clean your car every time you use it and it will last a long time. I will update in the future as long as it works like a charm and is used every day.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Nothing here

Was a Gift - Kitchen & Dining

This was a Christmas present for my grandson. I wanted to buy him an inexpensive coffee grinder. He's in his 20's and won't be messing around with everything he has, frequent cleaning etc. All in all I expected him to be a bit strict on this one. Every time he comes to visit he mentions how much he loves it and how great it works! I can't remember any other gift I gave him that I remembered so much and treasured so much.

Pros
  • Large Selection
Cons
  • Excessive Price

Broke after 18 months of light/moderate use

Update: Broke after 18 months of light/moderate use I couldn't justify an expensive coffee grinder for my weekend home and was sick of thinking about bringing coffee With. I've only been using it for a few weeks but I'm impressed with the cream (see photo, this is the first time I've felt the need to post) and the coffee is fantastic. At first I was concerned that the grind was not fine enough. There is a star deduction for the design because you have to open the lid every day to get the…

Capresso Burr coffee grinder

I was very surprised that this grinder works so well as you can see in the photo the box was torn into pieces like someone was playing football with this thing I don't know why some items are not included in the box but anyone that has a grinder is fine and grinds very precisely and as you can see from the photos it makes a great crema on espresso ordered this in the future will get it in one better packaging than me. I love this little grinder as it takes up very little countertop space and I…

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Too coarse for espresso

I wasn't expecting it to be great but was hoping it would be fine enough for espresso. But I was overly optimistic, even on the finest setting: the grind is too uneven and coarse (pictured left) to use in an espresso machine. My cheap knife sharpener worked better and produced usable sharpenings (pictured right). That's probably enough for a French press or filter coffee. But if you're looking for an espresso grinder, it will produce under-extracted coffee water instead. In my case, a cheaper…

Sensational grinder

I don't consider myself a big coffee drinker. I sometimes drink iced coffee on the go. A few years ago I ordered a Chefman single pod coffee maker from Revain (no longer available). Until recently I had never heard of a Chemex coffee pot with a spout. I started watching some YouTube videos about Chemex and really enjoyed it. Since I don't know much about coffee, the talk about grams of coffee in grams of water etc. was a bit overwhelming. Until I found a great video where they make Chemex…

Decent low end grinder

I have been a long time and very happy home user of the Capresso Infinity and needed another grinder for my office for occasional use. I didn't want to spend too much, so I went for this model. In general, the purchase is satisfied. Compared to Infinity: - The grinding quality is slightly lower. Stable for the most part, however I get more dust/powder in the grind which makes pouring a bit difficult. - The noise is slightly louder and higher pitched. A little more annoying. - The weight is…

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models
