Capri Tools Socket 2 Inch Metric Review

I bought this to tighten cylinder head bolts with all 1/2" drive tools. This racquet is beautifully finished, has a real quality feel and works great. I have other uses for the 10mm bit, so I'll use that as needed.

I lost the 5mm 1/4 bit that came with my bike torque wrench. Since the bits come in a small plastic case, I had to make sure this bit was about the same size as the others to snap into the case. When it fits perfectly and works just as well as the original bits.

This screwdriver is well made and tight tolerances for hex head screws. The 1/4 inch drive is a plus for replacing bearings in a pool pump. The bit socket is small enough to fit into the magnetic cylinder to free the body of the spiral drum. This head is comparable to bit heads from Matco or even Snap On's Blue Point bit heads.

When I received the item, looked at the packaging and inspected the product for myself, I figured people on Capri weren't joking. They take making great products seriously. I tested all of the heads on a newly purchased EPAuto 1/4" torque wrench and was able to easily install and remove each head with no binding. I believe these tools can get the job done.

Need a new front tire for my bike. I needed a 17mm hex bit. I really didn't want to buy a set of these rarely used sockets so finding one in stock was great. A 1/2" drive is useful because significant torque is required to loosen the axle once the set screw is loosened. Everything went well. I would buy the same item if I had to do it again.
