Not Worth the Investment

This carburetor for the Flathead may seem like a good idea at first, but don't be fooled by its sleek design. Automotive performance is all about power and efficiency, and this product greatly lacked both. Using this product, our team found that our car actually performed worse than with our previous carburetor. The only pro was that it was easy to install, but that doesn't make up for its lackluster performance. Save your money and invest in a different carburetor for better results.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Poor performance, not worth the investment

The product I am buying is a defective product

The deal between the dealer and me was excellent but the product was a piece of junk, the float stuck from the first run. An overfilled carb ruined my electronic ignition system. When removing the top cover of the float chamber it was 1/4 inch off center when the screw holes lined up, this caused the float to get stuck, acceleration was no more than half, I'm sure I'd like a replacement

Pros
  • Carburettor
Cons
  • Modern

Full basket with the best spare parts

We received this supposedly new carburetor and installed it in a customer's car. It never really worked for him, so he brought it to us. After a week of troubleshooting, we finally took apart the 'new' carburetor to find the misaligned gaskets that are preventing fuel and air from flowing properly. Worse, we found what looked like JB Weld or some type of epoxy used in the carburetor. next to the accelerator pump that covers the bore in the carburetor body. The only thing this carb is good for…
