Great carburetor for personal use

I used this carburetor to replace a pair of Mikuni carburetors on a small Korean V-Twin bike. Installation was easy, parts were readily available (there are even smaller/larger carburetors built on the same body making them interchangeable). As this is a bespoke application, I would like the seller to publish the measurements on the website; This is a 32mm carburetor in case anyone needs to know!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No instructions

Don't waste money and time.

I needed to replace the original carburetor on my 2005 Yamaha 350 Bruin. I figured I'd save a lot of money and do a skein. What a waste of time (it takes a lot of time to disassemble a carburetor) and money. It started and ran about 5 minutes. After that it didn't start at all. The fuel tank started leaking. Invested in a Yamaha stock replacement carburetor ($228.00). Works like new. The old saying is true. You get what you pay for.

  • Satisfied so far

My problem seems to be solved

I've been trying to fix an acceleration problem on my 2000 Kodiak 400 for weeks. Cleaned carburetor about 10 times, checked wiring/valves/timing, replaced coil/connector. Until I decided to replace the carburetor (it was replaced before I got this non-OEM 4 wheeler). Everything seems fine in the garage now. I'll get it tomorrow for better testing and then hit the road in a couple of weeks. If that doesn't work I'll update the review. But for now it looks like my problem is solved.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Basically okay, but...

Worked great on a 2003 Big Bear 4x4

Best quality carburetor I have ever purchased. The inside was clean and lubricated. The jets looked the same. I was planning on taking parts from them and installing them on a factory carburetor. When I opened it up it looked good enough that I decided it was worth a try. Worked great! It's a factory sensor. That's all! I went through the tank and checked the plug. Looks right!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Many things

Good carb so far in fuel system

Put this on my 2008 Yamaha Big Bear 400 three days ago because the old carb was leaking gas and repeated cleanings didn't help. Well packaged, easily installed, now works like new. And no porous holes. The idle screw is very easy to use. Comes with a fuel filter and extra injectors, presumably for higher altitudes. It doesn't come with a fuel heater like the stock carb, which would be nice because I take it to the mountains in Colorado sometimes. It's more of a luxury but would still deserve a…

'01 Big Bear: Motorcycle & Powersports

I haven't ridden my '01 Yamaha Big Bear 400 in a few years and the carb cleaner didn't help so I started looking for a new carburetor and rebuild it. kits. When I saw these $40 carbs at Revain I was skeptical but they had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Many of the negative reviews included phrases like "garbage" or "don't buy". I'm actually going to explain why the carburetor didn't work for me. I also replaced the faucet so I removed the tank…
