Very light: Monocular

You are looking for a light Wander monocular and it fits. The focus is adjustable for individual users and the performance is also very good. It is small and can be stowed in the backpack or hung from the outside on the included carabiner. Comes with a good protective case. A good product.

  • Special offer

Exactly what I was looking for.

Profitable. Much better than I thought it would be. I was looking for a pocket telescope for hiking. In that regard, he seems perfect. Tiny. Good optics for the price etc. The only reason for four stars and not five is the supplied chain/carabiner. Just too easy to trust in my opinion. But I still wouldn't use it. Fits conveniently in a cargo pocket. So far we would buy it again.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Some problems

So-so at best for binoculars and telescopic sights

Everything ok. The field of view is quite narrow and a bit dark. But I don't see how to avoid it given the properties and prisms of the roof. More durable than small Carson/Brunton jobs. I wouldn't mind something like the Steiner 8x22 - it costs a bit more, but it's also a much better tool. But for the price it's not bad. I gave it to my 6 year old and he hasn't destroyed it yet so it's good to use.

  • Good thing

Doesn't focus close enough

I've found that when I'm using this telescope (monoscope? monocular?) I often can't focus because I'm too close. I read the description but I think I underestimated the distances I will be using it. It's a great little tool too - light weight, compact and comes with a nice case. It wobbles a little when you use it with one hand, but stabilize it a bit with the other hand and it works fine.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

Works great but a bit too big in diameter

Overall a good tool. It's three inches long but a bit thick for my liking. For the same magnification, brightness and overall quality I would recommend the Roxant Pro SUPERIOR COMPACT MONOCULAR. It's a few bucks more expensive, but it's easier to store because it's a straight tube and not an inflated tube. It doesn't have a belt clip like this one, but it does come with a lanyard to hang around your neck. Any of them will work just fine. I bought them both.

  • Done
Cons
  • Long wait

Carson Pocket Monocular 6x18mm

This thing is tiny. It's great to have in your pocket or attach to something when you need to see something but don't have a large scope or binoculars. I actually prefer the Carson 7x18mm monocular. It's slightly larger, but still small enough to keep in a convenient place. If you want to carry a monocular on your keychain, then the 6x18 would be a good candidate. The optics are what you would expect from a tiny inexpensive monocular. Useful when you want to check if it really is a big foot…

  • Great Overall Performance
Cons
  • Zero

Great little space for the price and size, but .

I bought this scope at the same time as 3 others that differ in zoom and price. (Polaris, Roxant and Milwaukee). It's a nice little scope and if you're looking for a small, portable scope, this is it. I doubt the carabiner will last long. The chain looks fragile. If you want to stick with something small this is a great scope for the price but you can also try Roxant scopes. Roxant, which I bought at the same time, also with 6x zoom but 30mm lens. The Roxant is significantly larger and more…

  • understandable even for the old ones

  • It makes me angry

Galileo would be jealous

In general: not bad. For $13: great! There are two facts about buying optics: quality lenses are expensive and size matters. Manufacturing quality lenses requires precision and expensive materials. It's just impossible to avoid. For the most part, the phrase "you get what you pay for” definitely applies to optics of all types. Are $1,000 binoculars or monoculars twice as good as a $500 model? Maybe not, but if you want good quality, be prepared to shell out $100 or more. Also, when it comes to…

Comparison of two mini monoculars Carson and Roxant

Wanted to take something small with me on a trip. To enjoy the view and spot the wildlife. For my use it works great. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Including case and cleaning cloth. When I bought a ROXANT mini monocular, I also bought a Carson mini monocular for comparison. They are about the same quality and price. Either this is a great buy I highly recommend. They are about the same size, smaller than I expected in terms of display quality, amazing. Carson is only three inches…
