Perfect fit for the Nikon Monarch 7 8x42 binoculars

Perfect fit for the Nikon Monarch 7 8x42 binoculars. Much better than what Nikon offers. Reliable, very well built, lightweight, unobtrusive, easy to use and exceptionally affordable. Don't waste your time with others in this price range. You will not be disappointed!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Crumpled

Bought for my Vortex 12x50s

I used to buy a Vortex mount with a longer flat handle but it was a terrible product and kept getting lost. a thinner rubber washer, but it worked great in the field. The large slot at the end was perfect for tightening my multi tool. Should have bought it first and saved $19.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Very expensive

Seems solid on binoculars and scopes

They are almost identical in height and angle to my Bushnell adapter. "Flight" threads on its propeller. A little bit longer. If you have heavy binoculars, this might help. This works very well on my adjustable Aculons Nikon 10x-22x50 with a Revain tripod (surprisingly well btw)

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Infinitely limp

Fits Vortex Diamondback 12x50 binoculars

The adapter has a threaded connection small enough to fit the Vortex Diamondback 12x50 binoculars. The adapter has a slot for a screwdriver to pull him more tightly to the binoculars. Depending on the tripod setup. screwed finely for my (Targus TG 5060 TR) adapter base. but it sits slightly off-center on a camera tripod. However, it fits snugly on the tripod and I can use it with my setup. Satisfied.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Exchange possible

The screw is small. YOU MUST use a screwdriver.

Working. Nice. Except that • the thumbscrew is so small that you have to use a screwdriver to tighten it onto the binoculars. • You can only remove the binoculars with a screwdriver. • Cheaply applied black paint flakes off instantly when you use a screwdriver • Shiny aluminum shows up wherever you put a screwdriver • Screwdriver bit is instantly razor-sharp.

Pros
  • Speakerphone
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Terrible for my binoculars

The problem with this adapter (and the Athlon adapter I even bought to replace this one) is that the screw is TOO SHORT! Has no one who designed this thing tried it with actual binoculars? What I mean is that the actual screw that goes into the internal threads of the binoculars is too short and only has about 4-5 threads. Too small for my expensive binoculars. I have a Meopta Meopro, NOT CHEAP so I expect this thing to hold the binoculars properly. I was afraid my $1400 binoculars would fall…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Not the best

Fantastic! Light weight, very strong metal construction, low profile and exceptional price. I have nothing bad to say about this mount. The only change I made was removing the o-ring. Not enough thread to use with. If you try, you will inevitably break some threads. I use it on a Leupold BX-4 Pro Guide 12x50. They are a bit heavy and this mount feels very strong. It actually looks like an extension of my monopod. Take away, shaking when walking is not a problem. A slot for a flat head…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine
