"Transformed my fuel system - a must-have!

Bent Metal: Idle Air Control Valves

The flanged part where the bolts go was not flat causing the new valve to not seat properly and draw air. When I saw the gap and heard air idling, I tried to fix it by tightening the bolts (didn't realize it wasn't flat yet). Clean the threaded part of the throttle body with screws.

A little patience pays off

I bought this to replace that on my '97 Land Rover Discovery. It fits perfectly and comes with an o-ring that does not fit this car. I bought a $12 gasket set to fit this car: STEP MOTOR GASKET SET x2 DEF DISCO RANGE ERR3359 ALLMakes4x4. Just a note, keep the original screws and reuse them if you can. The screws that came with the motor are too big for me. You may need to adjust the setting on a new engine after installation: depress the accelerator pedal part way and start the engine, let itโ€ฆ
